Thanks for some guidance on that.

Cooking dinner....then settling in to exploring my home planet tonight. 40% discovery already in 2 hours. I got lost in a massive cave too....took my 30 minutes to find my way out LOL.

Game is insanely cool. Took off from my planet to experience that...then went right back and landed again.

    Just wow man.

Be aware that when you do this you'll skip over the need for a few crafting and gathering tutorials. You might want to at least get Hyperdrive (warp travel) before redeeming that ship.

I wonder if there is some, more complex elaborate mechanic for MP. Like in Dark Souls where you actually have to get to a certain point, and have certain items to occupy the same "time" or "dimension."

Or, if the devs and Sean just misrepresented things. I was pretty sure he said you could theoretically meet another player.

IGN's "Review in progress" is pretty negative.

Not that I care what they think, I would just hate to see people who may love the game be turned off by a bad review.

            **** them.

This game already feels great. I can already see countless hours exploring.

The planet I just hit is VERY earth like with plenty of plant life, herbivores, water, and abundant resources. The atmosphere is completely friendly it seems, as I don't even need to recharge my environmental protection.

There's so much more I want to go into that I've found, but I'd be typing forever. Love this game.

Good point. Anyway, I was scanning for a long time and never found it again.

Game is interesting but buggy. Two freezes in less than an hour. My daughter had to travel forever for this stuff to fix her engine. Finally gets it, mines it and then freeze. Stuff is lost. There is only one save slot and you don't even control it! It's autosave only at certain points making this worse. The lack of control over saves is dumb. I can understand doing it this way to make the universe scary but you better not have it be this glitchy.

Yeah, I had one hard lock up when opening a crate. Could only power the system down by unplugging it.

I think Polygons was similarly negative too. I think a lot of people expecting a space opera or just didn't know what to expect.

This has happened to me twice. But if you wait a minute, the Ps4 will eventually exit out and send you a crash report to fill out. Saves you from hard resetting the system.

And I agree, this is the worst thing about the game.
