This was the only gamed that jumped to my insta-buy list.

LOVE the villain (Troy Baker FTW). Gliding through the mountains doesn't hurt either.

Sorry, the elephant’s path. Let’s be honest about who’s really in control of the situation here, because the moment you dismount, you’re fair game.

Once inside a walled enemy outpost, which your beast can breach by bashing in doors with his or her face, the elephant is blinded by its rage. Its sacrifice is noble, you would expect, but that requires the creature to fall at the hands of mere gunfire. More likely, the foes who do not flee will find themselves wrapped in the fleshy trunk of the animal.

Villains are less likely to notice you, whether atop your majestic mount or avoiding its obliteration, when their friends have been gored by tusks, or tossed, with the force of the trunk, through the air and into the windshield of a truck. If the angry animal falls, do not mourn its death, but celebrate its life.


If no elephants are available, you may consider throwing bait — meat gathered from animals you’ve hunted — to lure other animals into the area. Jungle cats love bait, and they love mauling anything in the way of it. Toss some grub on the ground, find a safe spot, and let nature take its course.

Still, if I had one regret in playing Far Cry 4, it’s that I never didn’t think about the ultimate battle. It was not until the next day that I wondered who, in the battle of elephant vs. elephant, would take home the crown, thus becoming the true king of the jungle.

One thing I didn't like from FC3 was the abundant amount of guns and ammo at your disposal. Even on master it was too easy.

Be good if there was a lot less ammo so when you hit an outpost, you truly had to decide whether to go stealth and conserve it, look for an animal or use your limited ammo.

She the problem with that is it takes choices away from the players who run and gun. For a game who prides itself on tackling any situation they way you want to that would be a bad thing.

Other game genres besides sports need to start having sliders instead of just difficulty levels. Let us slide the amount of ammo, health pick ups, enemies, wildlife, vehicles etc. That'd allow us all to customize games more to our personal liking.
