Just keep your distance and spam their head with an assault rifle. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it. If possible be near water so you can retreat into it if you want.

Yeah, i'd just run around with assault rifles, takes a bunch of clips though....make sure you're loaded up on health.

No clue if you could get a rhino with arrows, that must take forever lol

I was gonna say the exact same thing.

The harpoon gun works best but that might have been a pre order thing.

I have the pre-order version (limited edition) should the Harpoon gun be accessible from the get go?

LOL your not kidding. I rain down grenades from the grenade launcher to clear things out a little...land...take out a few stragglers...climb the tower...done.


I am actually really into the story so far. I know I read some were not into the the main story as much as the FC3....but I am finding it pretty cool. I love Kyrat. I think the environment is screaming PS4. I was boating down a river at a leisurely pace yesterday and all of a sudden I see an Elephant coming into the water for a drink. It was majestic.

I am blown away with the new wildlife. Right now I have 3 weapon slots and I am only 3 bell towers in. I want to know how the hell am I supposed to take down a Rhino at this point? Those things are insane.

The way I got my first rhino was by using one of the high-powered guns in a weapons nest by a road. Took it right down and it couldn't get to me. Out in the open, those things are tanks!

Great plan. The weapons nest are great and a perfect way to stalk a Rhino and take them down.

Tonight will be all about hunting to gear up. The ambiance while wearing my Sony Gold's is mind blowing.

Far Cry 3 blew me away......Far Cry 4 is on another level IMO.

I was able to take down rhinos with about 15-20 arrows with the mini crossbow. Then could pick up most of them. Best weapon in the game.

And you get two skins for it.

Ahhhh yeah, need to play through until this and the harpoon unlock....I think it's the Key to the North mission or whatever, I'm close. Just get distracted by hitting more outposts and whatnot

Far Cry 3 blew me away......Far Cry 4 is on another level IMO.

The story lacks for me tbh. But there is so much action and random gameplay i really enjoy the overall game. And co-op would be a blast if i knew anybody with it.

Honestly, there is so much to see and do, that I haven't spent a ton of time with the story. This is by far the BIGGEST game that I've ever played. Love it! I didn't get part 3, but it's looking like that and The Last of Us will be my summer games.

The Story is cool. I mean listen....it's not the same as the intro to FC3 where you see your brother murdered by Vass who was a complete insane murderous nut job.

But FC4 wastes no time introducing their new villain in ruthless dictator Pagan Min and he is evil as hell!!! As far as how AJ can just pick up a gun and get busy....well first off it is a FPS and there is no time for character development. AJ's father was a huge part of the Golden Path and it is in his blood to be like this. I am digging the history of Kyrat, the whole fascist government angle...it's great IMO. Plus choosing which Golden Path leader to side with. I did her first two missions (getting the intel and then defending the temple) but now I want to pick up his mission and see how that goes.

But the most important thing is what your able to do in this game. The region of Kyrat is alive, gorgeous, mysterious, and full of life and things to do. Even more so than FC3.

I have not even scratched the surface! Also I went to the FC3 driving controls. So happy they kept that as an option.
