Wow so this game has different endings? I'm really eager to pick this up now.

I mean I was going to get it regardless but I've been trying to get through my backlog first and I've been waiting to pick it up on the cheap but good to hear.

You can actually find one of those legit credit rolling endings in about 15 minutes from the start of the game.

After the opening scene, right as you gain control of the PC for the first time, you're told to wait by the antagonist while he takes a phone call. If you wait long enough it'll trigger a scene where he tells you the basic plot and back story of the game and then he lets you do what you came to the island to do. End game.

That's the worse ending by the way but it hints at what you should do to get the best ending when the time comes.

I hope the next Far Cry game the developers put more emphasis on multiplayer while building on the SP. I remember putting hours and days on FC2 and FC3 multiplayer. PVP on custom maps, where every map is different and always something new.

What I hope for Ubisoft games that are a part of a series, is that they work more than 2 years on a game. They have a tendency to release a sequel every 2 years, and some of these franchises need much more than that.

I'm in the middle of this game and so far it's cool. I kinda felt like quitting at the beginning. It took about 4 or 5 hours before I settled in and starting enjoying it.

The guy u play with is *** though. Terrible main character. Im not really feeling the story but I like that u get to have a choice

What I hope for Ubisoft games that are a part of a series, is that they work more than 2 years on a game. They have a tendency to release a sequel every 2 years, and some of these franchises need much more than that.

Unlike Assassin's Creed though, the short development time has never hurt or caused Far Cry to suffer. The gameplay is still excellent as is the overall game. Not perfect but easily the best open world FPS in my opinion and the best gameplay in the FPS genre (open world or linear) as well in my opinion.

With rumors going around in regards to Far Cry 5 which would most likely be a three or four year development cycle depending on when it gets released, the game should be even better. Granted, the past few games have their flaws and aren't perfect but to me, Far Cry is Ubisoft's premiere franchise, not AC and I thought this even before the Unity disaster.

Either way, Far Cry 5 WILL be one hell of a game and I for one, can't wait!!! E3 baby!!!

Yeah, the protagonist is the weak spot but the story itself is good and better than Far Cry 3 in my opinion. Unlike the beginning of the game when you SHOULDN'T just sit there, make sure you DO sit there at the end.

This may be considered a spoiler telling you what to do but the main point is that im not telling you why and as someone who didn't just sit there at the end and watched the best ending on youtube, I was kicking myself for screwing that up. Better to get the true ending and story conclusion while playing through the game at the end as opposed to watching it on a damn youtube video.

Excellent 9/10 overall game though in my opinion.

I have never actually played FC 3 or 4, but are they that different? I mean, does it feel like they are different enough to buy 4 for full price if you played 3 (I am really asking)? I hope they get the coop right in 5. I loved 4 but the coop was awful which was a shame because it was one of the better games I've played world wise.

I purchased Far Cry 3 (360) at launch for $60 and Far Cry 4 (ps4) at launch for $60 or $48 GCU. Don't remember which. Either way, if you're a Far Cry fan like I am then yeah, both games are worth buying at launch for full price.

The basic formula is the same but the environment, atmosphere is different. Gameplay wise, there's more vertical gameplay in FC 4 than FC 3 and the grappling hook in FC 4 is awesome. Every game should have that so you can rock climb pretty much anywhere there's a hook to connect the grapple to.

I love both games equally but for different reasons. Prefer Vaas over Pagan Min but the story in 4 is better than 3. The two side characters that you do missions for in 4 also impacts the story. The winter/snow setting in 4 is excellent but I do like the tropical setting in 3 better. The weakest aspect of both games is the protagonist but everything else is so good, it makes up for it.
