anyone get to the one larger room where there is a guy on platform above you and is pretty tough to kill? Took me a while, but I took him out. I could find no way to get up there though. There are cranes in the room and an assembly line with a little gated area in the middle. I have no idea how I'm supposed to get up to that platform he was on

You mean the area with a gap? There's a button that'll make the walkway whole and get you to Jared

I couldn't find how to get over there until after I had killed them. I was almost going to leave the area in frustration, but I thought, those fools didn't just teleport up there so has to be a way to get to them and they have to have some good stuff on them, so I'm going to keep searching.

I got over there by jumping on a few things. Wasnt until i had to go back a week later that I saw the button.

They should have made a perception perk where you could highlight items, containers, actionable items like switches, etc with a push of a button.

Like Dragon Age has.

Is the loot random? I'm not finding fusion cores in the same spots my brother is. Kind of weird.


Edit: could it possibly be tied to my luck rating? He told me there was 4 fusion cores in a location and all that was there hit me was pipe pistols and fusion cells.

Sure feels random to me in some cases. Containers that I previously cleared out has had new and different items in them when I returned. Not sure if this is the case everywhere in the game but I have noticed some containers refilled but not all, plenty of empty containers as well from my previous sweep through.

I recommend everyone check out Diamond City when your pipboy reads 12/25. They had it lit up like Christmas. Nice little detail. Wonder if any other dates are celebrated like July 4th maybe.

I think I heard if you return to areas after a certain amount of game time you can re loot them. Not quite sure how that works though.

Found another power armor last night. Really easy to get. Same as the previous one I have though so I'm not really sure what the point is to having multiple. I guess I'll just make it look different. Right now I have two and another with no armor parts on it. I'm not sure if I'm just unlucky or what but I have come across no parts for the empty suit in like 2 days of playtime.

Really hoping my digital download of the game is not corrupted. I was doing a mission last night and the game had a blue screen crash error three times while fighting the final boss. I died a few other times while fighting him and the game was fine, basically reloading my last save point each time. So I'm not sure if it's the mission itself that is bugged or if there's an issue with the game install. Going to try a again today after work, doing a fresh reboot of my PS4 could resolve the issue (fingers crossed)

On a side note, that boss is a real pain in the arse, lol

I know other games have done this as well. I know in one of the Batman Arkham games if you talked with Calendar Man on 12 certain days/holidays it got you an achievement. And I think in Simpsons Road Rage on the PS2 had something similar.

Fallout 4

I have two empty sets of power armor and I can't figure out how to put a piece of armor on them. Not sure what I'm missing.

Edit: I'm an idiot. Was trying to equip a mod.

Finally starting to get into the game a little more. What I need to know - where are there some vendors (early on in the game, just completed the first minuteman quest and have just been exploring a bit)? Have so much useless **** that I'll never use that is just taking up space on Dogmeat or in my chest next to my bed in Sanctuary.

Is there a bug where companions disappear?

Finally made my 5 real time hour trip to Diamond City and sometime during my trip, dogmeat booked it.

Was sneaking my way through danger and noticed he wasn't around. Odd.
