They need to scale their games better in this regard.
The small settlement is one major part of why I don't even bother with the settlements. Preston says over and over about coming together and all that but you never see a truly large settlement, your efforts never actually seem to pay off.

What guns are consider Sniper rifles?

Also how many Settlements should I build? I was thinking of doing around 3... Sanctuary, The Castle and Spectacle Island... Will I be fine with just those?

If you side with The Minutemen for your end-game, I THINK you need a minimum of 8 settlements.

Pretty much anytime you put a scope on a rifle it's labeled a sniper rifle. Can take a pipe pistol, put a stock on it to make it a rifle, put a scope on it & you now have a sniper rifle.

Don't hold me to that, but I think that's what I read somewhere. It's not too bad, tho. You just have to HAVE them. You don't have to invest a bunch of time in them.

I heard it will be when they patch all the problems with the game, then they will release mod support for consoles.

                      Fallout 4

Does anybody else find themselves playing this more like a tactical FPS/ survival zombie game? I find myself scavenging every new place I come to and sweeping rooms, stairways and buildings like a swat game. I even went new with more semi automatic rifle setups and using the Rifleman perk. Trying to use cover and pop shots to the head an torso. Lol.

Edit: for the record I walked into Fallout completely blind. Got it as a surprise gift from my little Bro for Christmas and have loved every minute. But I'm such a Noob and have no idea what I'm doing. Just really enjoying the open world post apocalyptic vibe.

That is the intent I believe. If its not I am playing it like that. I love going around and clearing houses, pie'ing corners, and interacting with things overall. Funny thing is, there is an overall arcing mission which I get to...but like in real life...I get sidetracked to the "bigger picture than your you" persona and run the commonwealth. My legend has spread...I am the operator of the commonwealth...a fixer

I had a funeral for a certain character in santuary. Took that character out to the water and said a few words. It ended with a bloatfly attack. I deduced that she was dead for too long and attracted flys. Lol

Question for you guys, if I don't really want to mess with settlements and I can't establish supply lines, do I just need to fast travel to sanctuary to store all of my loot? I'm fine doing it, just wondering if there was another way.

Yea that kinda is the way to do it, unless you want to leave it random places. Also you can always walk back to Sanctuary.

I've left everything I have ever found, guns, mods, junk, etc, in Sanctuary. Much easier to remember where I left a particular item I may want to use later on.

I kinda wish that if I left junk in one settlement, it was usable at another. I know that sort of defeats purpose, takes away realism in a way, but would just make things a lot easier than having to go get junk from one place, and take it to another.
