Pretty sure that's a placeholder date.

Saw Boston Sand and Gravel and the portion of 93 right by it, as well. That house looked familiar, too.

I'm as pumped as everyone else because I loved Fallout 3 & just love Bethesda games but that trailer didn't impress me when it came to the graphics. Still looks somewhat last gen. Even when they showed the people running it looked like the stiff running models from Fallout 3.

But I know its just a trailer & I know it's the gameplay that counts which is why I'm still picking it up.

Knowing them it's probably the same engine.

Yeah, from the very, very, small sample, looks like they are using the legacy Bethesda engine, which I cant help but be disappointed about.

But hey, maybe they ironed about the stiffness of it. Its been what 5 years since Skyrim? But still, we are bound to see some gamebreaking and or horribly 4th wall tearing game bugs on release. Which Bethesda shouldnt be let off the hook for so easily every time they release an unpolished game.

I've watched the trailer 4 times and I could not tell you if it is a new engine or a old one, how can you be disappointed about something if your not sure one way or another though!? Until someone sits down with the game (E3) or Bethesda tells us, it's all speculation.

Bethesda store says TBA 2015.. If I was guessing, it'd be almost certainly in late October or early November since that seems to be the normal with the main Bethesda games. Only big one was Oblivion came out in March but I think that was due to them wanting to get the game out for X360 as quickly as possible.

Are you talking about the one with the statue in front of it? Because I'm thinking that's Paul Revere's House.

I'll be quite surprised if it comes out this year, but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed. The hype levels for this game are over 9,000. Instantly my #1 anticipated.

If it makes you feel any better, the old spoiler post on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/Fallout/com...yed_fallout_4/) claims the engine was completely rebuilt for the current generation of systems. The post has been quite accurate about all the details so far, but I suppose it still does remain to be seen about all the details.

I just wonder if the reason so many others games have been pushed to 2016 is due to this game hitting this Fall. Along with the box art and Bethesda going to all the trouble of an E3 event they normally do not have. Guess we may know more in 2 weeks.

I would like to know the release date soon if it's a fall release so I can take time off for it, fallout 4 is the last game I'll stand out at midnight for.
