Got the mod that allows you to make armored under-clothes. 110 ballistic and energy resistance with 3 weight? Goodbye leg and arm armor.

I wish we could do stuff like that on PS4. I love my Minuteman General outfit, but since it offers no protection, I can only wear it around settlements.

Well, you don't HAVE to use them. I just like the look of the General's outfit. The colonial period in America is my favorite time period, so that has a lot to do with it.

Spoiler alert, you don't need pc mods to get what Tim was describing. It's part of the actual game.

As for perks that actually ruin the game, it would be great if Bethesda would fix mcreadys perk!

Haha. Love that I fixed up all the castle walls only to have the front gate open 24/7.

I am playing on PS4. You can do something in the game to gain a new mod to your under-armor.

There are plenty of ways to "break" the game by utilizing game mechanics (search for melee builds, you can be 1-2 hitting every enemy to death by about level 20 without an enemy touching you). Having light armor is pretty far down on the list for me.

Haha. Love that I fixed up all the castle walls only to have the front gate open 24/7.

PSSSST......if it's not the NPC, take a pretty good look at Dogmeat, he's always looking guilty and it's like his life's mission to reopen any door you close, hahaha

Here you go:

Join the Railroad (don't worry, joining a faction before you get to certain things later doesn't affect the game in any way) and start doing quests for them. You'll eventually get one called Mercer Safehouse. After you clear that, talk to the robot P.A.M. and she'll give you Jackpot radiant missions that tell you to Secure the DIA Cache. Once you complete your first DIA Cache mission, talk to Tinker Tom and he gives you the new mod ability. To get all the way up to 110, you have to have Armorer 4. I think it also works on non-armor headgear as well, so you can basically wear whatever you want and be protected.

Edit: I just looked at my vault dweller's guide and it's one of the outfits you can't mod.

Hopefully I can finally get some hours into this game soon. Bought it on release, but been too busy to really get much time with it.

I think I'm still level two or something like that. Playing on survival mode, which I'm disappointed isn't like hardcore mode in New Vegas where you have to eat, drink water, and sleep.

Regenerating HP seems to be working differently now too, since I've eaten some food and not seen it even go up. Not sure where the rads bar is either.
