Wow.....I am giddy. I am a total sucker for Alien as I love the series with a passion. And the first two movies were the absolute gems.

Colonial Marines......was a pretty poor game looking back. I had fun playing through it (twice!) with my son who is an Alien junkie like his pop....but it was really so sub-par in what I expected and the story was utter garbage.


This finally looks like we are getting a survival horror game in the Alien universe. Something Dead Space has executed to perfection for me. But now we have a shot at real Alien game in a long long time.


I did pick up Alien vs Predator for PS3....and it's actually not bad at all. 3 different campaigns etc....it's cool. But it is nothing like what I think this has the potential to be.


I love the fact they are using Ripley's daughter as the main character looking for her mother 15 years after the first movie.


This oooozes with potential and I am very excited. What is the expected release date?

Looks slightly promising, but not getting my hopes too high yet. To do this right they need to have minimal combat. If this strides along the same line that Amnesia does, it could be a great experience.

I'll wait for PS+ to get this. Alien games have disappointed way to much in the last couple years.

What is this ? An actual survival horror and not another action game with 'horror elements' ?

CAUTIOUSLY optimistic. Been wanting a horror game in the same vein of the original Alien for a LONG time now. Not gonna be easy to pull off properly though.

I'm taking the cautious route here and wait for some more previews. Let's not forget Colonial Marines looked great in previews..

Ehh..it always looked like a generic run of the mill action shooter with the Alien tag slapped on it.
