    Re: RIP Nintendo.........

I own a GameCube for two reasons, Zelda and Mario. The only games I have for the Cube are:
    Zelda Wind Waker
    Zelda Collectors Disc
    Mario Kart DD
    Mario Sunshine
    Luigi's Mansion
    Super Smash Bros

I wish Nintendo would go the Sega way so I wouldn't have to buy a Nintendo console, but unfortunately I don't think they will. At least not until one more failed console.

Lets face it, NES is wayyyyy past its prime. The owned the 80s and some of the 90s but PS1 whiped them off the map.(in terms of game quality, not sales) Yea, GC still sales good, but they have lost alot of fans IMO. Its ppl out there who still enjoy GC, but with they're selction of games, its hard for anyone to have just a GC as they're only system. If the N5 does'nt go so good, in terms of sales, them you can kiss NES goodbye.

I guess you never got the oppurtunity to expirience 4-player smash brothers, mario kart, goldeneye, or perfect dark. N64 also had some of the best football, snowboarding, and baseball games until the DC was released. Mario 64, Ogre 64, and Zelda OOT are the pinnacle of their respective genres.

What's wrong with GC's selection of games? I'm keeping to xbox just b/c they launched together, and GC has a higher count of high-rated exclusives than xbox according to GR.

Dude, you have no idea how much cash Nintendo has stored up. They are as a whole in better financial position than MS and Sony. MS's biggest money-sapper is xbox, and Sony is not what it used to be. Let me ask you this. Why do you think Nintendo doesn't go online and doesn't put extras in it's system? HINT - It's not to be different.

I rarely play M games but I don't want to play mario sunshine or pokemon either. So what if they have a larger number of exclusives? The exclusives they have are boring games that are mostly geared to little kids.

I rarely play M games but I don't want to play mario sunshine or pokemon either. So what if they have a larger number of exclusives? The exclusives they have are boring games that are mostly geared to little kids.
