Just got done with the Arkham Knigbt reveal, it was kind of predictable but still satisfying.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
SpoilerNo, you can do that. You can finish all of that without collecting a single trophy. Once you save her though, you're still going to have to lock up Riddler by finding all the trophies/riddles.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Finished the story today. Pretty good ending. Overall I thought the story itself was great. A lot of intense moments and surprises throughout. I'm closing in on getting the 100% ending too, so I'm interested to see how that turns out. I feel like it might have been better to have finished everything up before getting the 100% ending, but I wanted to finish off the story before I go back to work.
It does kind of suck that you have to go through and get every single riddle and Riddler trophy to achieve the 100% ending, but at the end of the day I like having a good incentive to explore the city and be a completionist. A lot of games don't really reward you for getting 100%, aside from achievements/trophies.
Now that I've completed the campaign, I can safely say this is yet another amazing Batman game and will probably go down as a personal favorite of mine, not just when it comes to Batman but games in general. I'm still not completely sure if I'd rank it as the best of the Arkham series since City's story is a little foggy to me, so I'll have to go back and play that again one of these days. Gameplay-wise though (and Batmobile debates aside), this is as good as it gets here. Not only are all of the new features great additions, the previous mechanics are all at their best in the series, and the entire package is a smooth, seamless experience.
Major props to Rocksteady for churning out these masterpieces and never disappointing. I don't think I could ask for a more faithful video game recreation of my favorite character, and to always be able to go back and play these games whenever I get the itch to "be Batman" is awesome.
I don't know where they goes from here. The dual play mechanic and appearances/nods to all of these other characters in the universe makes me wish they'd stay in the superhero game but I get the feeling that isn't going to be the case and that they want to move on to something new. I can't say I blame them if that's the case. All I know is that if their next game is as quality as all of these Batman games have been and handled with as much love and care as this series has been, I feel pretty safe in saying they'll be taking even more of my money.Last edited by BlueNGold; 06-28-2015, 11:21 PM.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
It took me a bit to get in to AK but once I got use to the batmobile and all the controls, I love the game. I know there have been complaints about the game at some points not telling you where to go or what to do but I kind of rather enjoy figuring it out on my own. To me, gives it more of a challenge and adds a new aspect to the game. And visually, this is one of the best looking games in the PS4.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
It looks like a minor patch was released to fix missing rain textures and turns on ambient occlusion.
PC version
This is from WBgames forum
Rocksteady is leading our team of developers and partners as we work on the PC performance issues that players have been encountering. The work is significant and while we are making good progress on improving performance, it will take some time to ensure that we get the right fixes in place.
Below is the list of the key areas where we are dedicating our resources to improve the experience for our loyal fans:
- Support for frame rates above 30FPS in the graphics settings menu
- Fix for low resolution texture bug
- Improve overall performance and framerate hitches
- Add more options to the graphics settings menu
- Improvements to hard drive streaming and hitches
- Address full screen rendering bug on gaming laptop
- Improvements to system memory and VRAM usage
- NVIDIA SLI bug fixes
- Enabling AMD Crossfire
- NVIDIA and AMD updated drivers
While we work on improving performance, we will also continue to make interim patches available to address issues for those still playing the game on PC. The first patch is being released now and the updates include:
- Fixed a crash that was happening for some users when exiting the game
- Fixed a bug which disabled rain effects and ambient occlusion. We are actively looking into fixing other bugs to improve this further
- Corrected an issue that was causing Steam to re-download the game when verifying the integrity of the game cache through the Steam client
- Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash when turning off Motion Blur in BmSystemSettings.ini. A future patch will enable this in the graphics settings menu
We would like to thank our fans for their patience and invaluable feedback. We will continue to monitor and listen for any additional issues.Last edited by The JareBear; 06-29-2015, 01:24 AM."Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Game locked up on me today when I triggered one of the Riddler's races. Thought maybe it would eventually error out, but nope. Batman just stood there. I had zero control. None of the buttons works. Had to kill the game and restart. Never once ran into a problem like this with the other games.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
Personally I feel like this is the best story out of all the games. I have been captivated and on the edge of my seat since it really starts strong with Ace Chemicals mission. The interactions and communications throughout the game (you know what I am referring to) are awesome and well done. The atmosphere is top notch.
Right now this is easily my second favorite out of the four, and that is saying a lot because AC is one of my favorite games ever"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Batman: Arkham Knight
Man, I wasn't enjoying this game at first, but now...
There is so much variety with all of the different side missions. There is so much to do and different ways to do it. Don't want to drive the Batmobile? Then glide. Want to play predator? Play the 2 face missions. Want to test your brain? Collect Riddler trophies.
There is something for everyone in this game. So much fun! I'd score it a 9.8... It is hands down one of the best games I've ever played.

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
I have a question about the end of story mode.
SpoilerSeriously, the next spoiler tag contains a HUGE spoiler so if you don't want anything ruined, stop now. Only click the next one if you've finished the story.SpoilerSo who's in charge? Jason, Scarecrow, or Deathstroke? I'm guessing Jason was just in it to kill Batman, it seemed the whole time that Scarecrow was running the show, but Deathstroke takes over after you beat Jason. And after you solve the riddle for Deathstroke's Arkham story, it talks about him watching everything on TV waiting for his chance because he knew that Scarecrow and Jason would fail. Does that mean that the whole time Deathstroke was the boss?Boston Red Sox

SpoilerScarecrow thought he was in charge, Jason was just using him to get close to Batman to get his revenge. Deathstroke was waiting in the wings, because he knew Jason would fail. After he disappears, Desthstroke takes over the army and could care less about Scarecrow.
Great game, great story, great everything. Currently sitting at 91% and not looking forward to finding all those trophies.Comment

Re: Batman: Arkham Knight
After initial Batmobile fatigue (BM plat forming can still die in a fire) the game really has opened up.
The side missions are so interesting and different that they keep you engaged.
I've been so busy that I've had to play this game at a slow pace, and have enjoyed it a lot so far...I should do this with all my story games, lolComment
