The best part of New Story+ is that you don't have to do the Riddler stuff over again.

I honestly don't remember the cloudburst tank mission, but I beat it on the first try. I never found anything with the Batmobile that bad or difficult. Still loved every second of the game.

I think I died on the actual cloudburst tank once or twice, but thankfully it checkpoints after you take out the Cobra tanks. The best piece of advice for the cloudburst is to take out the front first. That was the hardest part for me.

Yea...if it didn't checkpoint you after taking out the cobras then I would be upset too. Taking out the front first is the best advice as it is the hardest part.

The tunnel is mission was more annoying than the cloudburst....for me at least..

There are some weird physics with the Batmobile sometimes...

I am also at the cloudburst mission and just not feeling much of a drive to pick it back up. Annoying because I can't switch to side stuff at the point I'm at.

                    WB Montreal expansion?

So the boss fight will be enjoyable.

There's a ton of Justice League hints in AK. I wonder what WB has in store.

Still not sold on the season pass, but I might have to pick it up if the impressions for this are good.

Yes I agree. I wish they would add a Green Arrow DLC, especially with the popularity the show has gotten. I think it would be a nice addition to the game.

I beat that part last night. I ended up googling how to take out the CB after you hit the surrounding parts.

The problem, as others have said, isn't necessarily the difficulty but please show me in what comic, cartoon, or movie that had Batman chilling in the Batmobile for 15-20 minutes taking out enemies? It was boring, long, and drawn out which is out of place for a series that's pretty much been intense and high impact. I've yet to encounter a fight like Deathstroke from AO or a fight like Solomon Grundy from AC. And if I have, I've completely forgot about it because they happen so few and far between everything else. Sadly, I'm also thinking of taking this back when done with the story and some of the side missions. This game has felt like too much of a chore with a couple of bright sports here and there.

The game looks great and I have fun with it regardless, but I do agree, after now having finished the main story, that this was not Rocksteady's best effort. There were few boss battles like the ones we had grown accustomed to, and the open world was too lifeless....when you think about it there's really not that many thugs in the game. One would think that there would be hundreds of bad guys on the street. Dead Rising put a whole bunch of zombies out there, don't know why this game couldn't of had situations where Batman is facing hundreds of bad guys and needs the help of one of his sidekicks.

AC will remain my all time favorite, and I will keep AK because I am big Batman fan. I will appreciate AK for what it is, but its not my favorite in the series.

People keep bring up these "boss battles" from previous Rocksteady games...I don't get it, they were terrible too. Does no one remember the **** storm of how terrible the last boss in Asylum was (Titan Joker with the batarangs lol), people basically said that was the only bad part of the game? The only "boss battles" that I remember being any good (IMO of course) was running away from Killer Croc in the sewers of Asylum and also the Scarecrow missions (which blows me away now that I think about it, because the most critically acclaimed sections of the first game were Scarecrow missions, then they made a whole game about Scarecrow with none of them lol). Regardless, the only good boss battles were in Origins, Rocksteady has never made good boss battles.

                              Re: Batman: Arkham Knight

Arkham Asylum only had 5 boss battles. Poison Ivy's and Killer Croc's were done fairly well I thought. Bane's and the two Titans were basically dodge and combo and overtly simplistic in design. The Joker battle was fairly lame due to the conclusion of the narrative. The actual gameplay mirrored Bane and the previous Titans.

The only AC boss I remember is Solomon Grundy, Ra's al Ghul, Clayface, and Mr. Freeze. None of them were bad, but only the first 3 felt like they offered a difference in the normal gameplay. Mr. Freeze felt like a routine Predator scenario with only one enemy.

As far as Arkham Knight goes, however, none of the boss battles are memorable to me. The side stories are fairly straight-forward with little pay-off. Penguin and Two-Face are locked into their respective gameplay segments. Firefly and Man-Bat are basically chase missions. Arkham Knight's final confrontation I only remember because it wasn't a tank battle.

And it is odd how great the Scarecrow encounters were in AA, but none of that is really found here apart from the Joker stuff. Even then I wouldn't really say that's because of Scarecrow.

I wouldn't say that Rocksteady's boss battles are terrible (overall), but they were certainly underwhelming.

Yeah they aren't terrible I guess, just uninspired. I don't take too much from them. I did forget Ivy in Asylum that was a good one, the City ones I dunno. Batman's character ruins the idea of boss battles a little bit, I wanna go full God of War QTE bashing people's heads into the ground but instead you just gotta knock them out and take them to GCPD lol, this is one of the reason I hope a Superman game comes out. There's no way to make Batman look like Batman while we're controlling him, he just looks like a guy running around, diving, and throwing stuff. That's why I think QTE's are the way to go, they can set up an elaborate finish using however many bat gadgets they want, and you can watch Batman take down the bad guys, I know tons of people hate QTE's though. God of War boss battles are special because you can feel when they're finished, I often have issues with games where you just fight them until they fall down. I want the big finish.
