Re: Bloodborne
Down on the d-pad cycles through your quick use items (last row of items when you pause).
Right on the d-pad cycles your right hand weapon. You can have two equipped at all times. They are the first two boxes on the row of 4.
Left on the d-pad cycles your left hand weapon. It'll be the last two boxes on the row of 4.
Up on the d-pad sacrifices your health to generate 5 temporary quick-silver bullets.Comment

To add onto this:

Thanks fellas for tips. Helps in a big way. Been switching back and forth between this and The Show. As soon as I die I quit not so much from frustration but from not knowing what the hell I need to do

Re: Bloodborne
I've never died so much in my gaming life. I'm jumping out of my seat left and right with OH F$&@ moments. The wife is looking at me like I'm an idiot as she walks off shaking her head. lol
I finally starting hitting a little groove luring these SOB's 1 by 1 and then I'm mauled by my first encounter with mans best friend. Wtf???
Do you lose everything when you die every time? Are there save checkpoints? It takes me back to the beginning every time.
In closing this is one bad game. Talk about the power and graphics of the PS4

Re: Bloodborne
So if my weapon of choice scales from three stats should I level up all three of those stats or just the main one (strength/skill)? I feel like I'm wasting level ups so far. My next character will be much different for sure but that's part of the fun right?
Also, does anyone know what the max level is, soft caps and hard caps on attributes?
Thanks as always for input. These are tough gsmes to pick up and get into for the first time, not noob friendly, but so worth it"Successful people do not celebrate in the adversity or misfortune of others."

Very non-linear game, so much so that you might miss what people are referring to as the first boss kind of easily.
Re blood echoes: When you die your blood echoes are dropped in a blood stain on the ground or picked by enemies you see with glowing blue eyes. You have one chance to get your echoes back, but if you die they're lost for good.

I would assume the skill scaling works the same as it does in the previous Souls games so maybe consult old guides for those game to figure it out?Last edited by Cyros; 03-25-2015, 09:56 PM.Comment
