Making my way to a 6th boss. It was over an hour before I found the shortcut back to the lamp and I had 40K blood echoes. Some of these environments are genuinely terrifying to go through.

You need to have 10 insights on you to unlock the insight messenger and have him appear. Also once you go under 10 insight and leave the shop, he disappears until you have 10 insight again.Comment

Re: Bloodborne
I'm 0 for 20 on boss four now. lol
I might just do nothing but level up for a week straight before trying again. What's concerning me is the very first time I tried I got her down to less than 10 percent health left, but the last few times I barely get her halfway.
I've tried tips from here, I've watched videos and read guides, for some reason I just can't get it. I understand its key to stay behind but in order to get behind it seems impossible for me not to get swiped dodging my way in and around. I admit that I suck, it's not a game problem it's a me problemComment

Re: Bloodborne
While I recognize all the Souls games and Bloodborne are quality games, I would love to see one "pro" reviewer not be afraid to say the games are too hard. I have gotten two of the Souls games and quit both because they stopped being fun. I bought Bloodborne hoping I will somehow play this one better, but I'm sure I will get about five hours in and get sick of trying to get past the same area over and over.
I think reviewers are afraid to not like the Souls games. They are worried it will make them appear uncool or unskilled. I love the Souls games for the first few hours, then get frustrated and angry because I cannot get past a certain point. Which really stinks because I want to experience the amazing atmosphere of the games. I suppose I lack the focus and reflexes to get very far. I envy those of you who will be able to finish the game.
I too envy those who are finding enjoyment from the game, but to me it feels like the biggest April Fools joke is being played on me as everyone is raving about the game and I don't get it.Comment

Re: Bloodborne
I'm quickly getting there sadly. I've only gotten to play about 2 hours and advanced maybe 2 minutes in the game. I feel like I'm constantly fighting the controls as half the time I hit 'O' to dodge an attack and my character doesn't react. I just die and die and die and die.

Bloodborne
I took a 4 month break from Demon's Souls and when I went back it just clicked and I fell in love with the game.

Re: Bloodborne
Made a typical Souls mistake for my first death. I was actually making good progress down past that big fire in the middle of the street, saw an individual enemy down ahead, charged ahead for the jumping attack with my whip, took him down, and immediately got smacked from behind and killed with a torch. Now to return and reclaim my blood echoes.
Anyone else almost kill the werewolf at the beginning of the game with their bare hands? I had him down to barely any health before he jumped at me and took me out.Comment

Re: Bloodborne
Your not the only one, half the people that bought this game are getting frustrated with it and feel like they wasted their time. Most of the people that love this game are coming off of the other Souls games. So their used to this difficulty and don't get frustrated as much. Your gonna get those BS death that you have to live with. But like all Souls games, once you hit a groove and get the combat down, your gonna love it. It by far one of the best combat in a RPG game.

I want to like it so I'll give it some run this weekend and if I'm not feeling it come Tuesday I'll perform a magic trick and turn it into The Show.Comment
