I wish I wasn't thrown into a New Game + I'm sure my cloud save has been overwritten with that by now.

So I should have completed the Chalice Dungeons and never started a new game? Is it going to be a lot of work to complete the chalice dungeons and DLC now?

He is being a bit whinny but I do see the point about how to access the content will not be something casual fans would know

I had to look it up but getting to vicar amelia the first or second time around is not going to be hard to do and you can skip a boss or two before hand and be ready to fight vicar amelia

I for one think that the dlc should only be played once you beat the game and start a new game plus because the dlc should be harder then main game in terms of boss difficulty because many have boosted up characters

for example I noticed a regular hunter kept spawning after each time I died even if I beat him once in an area. I was told that this was not the case if the dlc was played before starting new game plus

Am done with everything in the DLC except the last boss who is kicking my behind right now even though I got all his moves down but his hits are damaging like crazy.

Once I beat the last boss I would have all the trophies and weapons in the dlc

Well no I did not get one gem that i wish I had but might do the dlc again just to get it..is not a weapon but a gem that i find awesome

The Dungeons do not upscale difficulty in new game plus....Only the main game and DLC do

So I beat the DLC a couple of hours ago with full trophies 100%

The last boss is incredibly tough but I feel the optional boss in the game is a bit harder

But both are about as hard as you will find in any boss of bloodborne

The Rokuyo weapon is incredibly hard to get due to who you need to defeat to get it which is not a boss battle but it should be as it was the hardest part of the game for me

I need 4 more trophies in main game

All weapons which I think I have but cant use one due to low tinge and I think once I have enough I would get the trophy for that

I am about to get the trophie for hunter tools and then I need just the gem in the dungeons and one of the final endings I did all 3 the first time but did not get the trophie for one which is weird but I will try in NG plus

Have all bosses down except OOK (last one). He's gonna take me awhile. Doesn't help when I ring the bell and no one appears.

You just have to have the weapons, don't have to be able to use them. I can't use the Kos Parasite due to low Arcane, but still got the trophy for owning them all.

The last hunter tool is in the worst possible place, it's by all the Mother Brain's near the last area, and you have to walk across a beam with a Mother Brain staring at you. My advice is to run, grab it and just let yourself die LOL. As long as you get it, it saves.

What gem do you need? Level 15 I assume? The Blood Gem Master trophy can be acquired in the Ailing Loran Chalice dungeon. The Beast Possessed Soul (layer 1 boss) has it.

About the ending/DLC, Blooodborne lore and that Polygon article.

That Polygon click bait article just bothers me when they complain for no real reason. If you actually follow the lore laid out in Yharnam and what's being said by the other hunters and NPC's in the DLC, you learn that the DLC definitely needs to follow you beating the game at least one time. Even the end of the game lays that out, as Bloodborne takes place over one night. When you defeat Gerhman you wake up again and begin the fight all over again.

Gerhman mentions he was waiting for Laurence (who in the DLC is obviously dead and taken beast form). Gerham also was consumed by doing the Moon Presence's bidding. The whole game basically surrounds itself around a baby being born (Mergo) who later dies. The Queen is the mother, The Wet Nurse had the baby die on her watch. Arianna also becomes pregnant in the storyline but she has vileblood and if you did her storyline, you end up killing her on the table in the clinic. The hunt only exists to stop the beast plague but the church doesn't understand the meaning of it, which is why it starts over with new hunters every night.

So back to Kos, he's the cosmos. He is the one the beasts all pray to (as evident when you walk to his area). We see him dead when we walk on to the beach and his now orphan emerges. Kos also placed ROM in the world (same water area just the other side). The Hunters hid Kos away from the world with Maria guarding his area. The DLC flows so multiple areas go in order to keep Kos from getting to the rest of Yharnam. Micolash mentions Kos and how Kos graced them with Rom and the glory of sight.

It's a crazy world filled with tons of lore, but if you follow it all, you clearly see why the DLC goes AFTER you beat Gerhman and the Moon Presence.

Make sure you have them all in your inventory at the same time. Won't unlock if you sold one. You also need all the firearms and shield. Did you get the Beast Claws from the dungeons? That was my last one I needed.

NOOOO...I need those claws as my beast rune transforms me but I only get to use my main weapons...I am just at the end of level 2 dungeons

Servers were fixed last night with a quick patch and everything is back up and running.
