I'm sure many people like me missed a few things in the start of this game that didn't trigger events later in the game ie. Eileen the Crow story line so I'll be going back and playing through again once the DLC drops and this time I won't miss Eileen or the dialogue that allows you to send NPCs to Iosefka's Clinic.

Re: Bloodborne
Bought this at Best Buy for $32. I'll get around to it eventually, but am excited to play."Hate my game, hate my swagger, my hunger. Hate that I'm a veteran, a champion. Hate that, hate it with all your heart...

Re: Bloodborne
Late to the Game, as always- but bought a PS4 last week and Bloodborne was my first game!
Loving it so far, I am in Old Yharnam.
My previous experience was with Dark Souls 2, which I was able to beat but by the end wasn't having fun. What I like about Bloodborne is that it seems simpler than Dark Souls 2. There were so many classes, weapons, possible builds etc., I felt overloaded and was never sure I was making the right decision. Not with Bloodborne, I'm just making my choices and going. So far I have 4 weapons and like the axe the best so I've upgraded it a bit and added a blood gem. Also absolutely loving the gun parry!!!!
I am playing this game blind but am sure I may need to walk some tips on some of the bosses.
Edit: I just beat the 3rd boss on my first try!!! And I should clarify I don't think the game is simple, I think it is more focused, which is great!Last edited by ESPNdeportes; 11-02-2015, 10:40 AM."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

Re: Bloodborne
New patch inbound before the dlc on the 24th. Also a theme being sent to everyone who has got the platinum trophy in the game. Woot!! Can't wait for that.
Hello, Bloodborne fans. The brand new nightmare, The Old Hunters expansion (which requires the full game), will be unleashed on November 24th. It brings with it a host of new content and improvements, but it's not the only exciting news for Bloodborne. An upcoming patch will offer all players exciting new features in the original [...]

Re: Bloodborne
Can also get a theme just for pre-ordering the expansion, not the same as the platinum one but still cool. Also the last line of this article is intriguing haven't heard it before, maybe the beast pellets were meant for the DLC?

So yeah, Upper Cathedral Ward.......first time in a long time I've been scared playing a video game. The choir in the background is haunting, omg"You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

Re: Bloodborne
Beat the game last night on my first blind playthrough! What a great and satisfying game, I really enjoyed this much more than Dark Souls 2.
I did summon help on two bosses which I was really struggling to beat (Vicar Amelia, can't remember the other). Rom was the most frustrating boss for me, just to finish him off. Beat 3-4 bosses first try (blood starved beast, father gascoine, the three fire dudes, and the invisible witch).
Now I watched some youtube videos and realized I missed a bunch of places, to be expected though.
My biggest criticism is lack of weapons, I only found 1 weapon that I could equip I liked more than the axe. It was ludwigs holy blade, and I got it to +9 and it was great."You can not ensure success, but you can deserve it." - John Quincy Adams

Re: Bloodborne
How to access the DLC expansion.
Step 1
Defeat the boss of the Cathedral Ward and examine the altar in the back of the room to change the in-game time to night.
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters
Step 2
Go to the Hunter’s Dream and receive the Eye of a Blood-drunk Hunter from a messenger.
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters
Step 3
Go to the Oedon Chapel and leave via the left-hand exit to enter the square.
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters
Step 4
1. Go to the right-hand end of the square to trigger an event. This event will take you to the new area: the Hunter’s Nightmare.
Bloodborne: The Old Hunters
2. Lighting the lamp in the new area will allow you to travel to and from the area via an Awakening Headstone in the Hunter’s Dream.Comment

Re: Bloodborne
This DLC is incredible. 2 of the 5 bosses defeated. On the 3rd. 11 of the 16 weapons found. The best game of the year just got better.
