Ah ok. And I LOVE that they included free downloads of RSV and RSV2.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I love that they keep working on making this game better. I'm glad Kapkan is going to be a useful class again. After the first couple of days, pretty much nobody got killed with it unless they are being careless. Mute needed that range boost as well.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Agreed. Seems Ubi has really been focused on post release support and that is good to see.
Kapkan needed that update. I usually run with him because I like his gun, but this just gives an added bonus for use.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Fun times last night. I don't see this leaving my rotation anytime in the near future. I didn't know if it would have staying power when I played the pre-release beta, but it's become one of my favorite shooters ever.
These guys always try to pop some shots from above the garage. You're not slick, man. Lol.

A good finish to end the round. I roll with this guy all the time. Good to play with people that talk and you have each others back.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I'm new to the game. I'm trying to get the hang of this but I always feel like easily the weakest link on the team. I feel like this is a tougher game for a noob to jump into as opposed to your typical FPS MP shooters. Just gotta keep plugging away I guess.Comment

It is very rewarding though once it starts to click. There will be frustrating moments but chalk those up to learning experiences. Soon enough you'll be the one catching people off guard, not the other way around.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Spent a decent portion of last night and this morning with the game. Getting better but it's humbling getting there. I was doing an attack mission as Thatcher today and our team got into one of the rooms with the bomb and I hear a couple teammates saying "Thatcher, plant the disarmer.........Thatcher, plant the disarmer........THATCHER!!!". And then I realized they were talking to me. And so i plant the disarmer and they all go "There ya go!!!". LOL.
Lesson learned. Up until that point I never bothered remembering which guy I was. It can be a little humiliating making rookie mistakes and having your teammates smack talk you to eachother. I was redeeming myself a bit toward the end though getting some good kills.
I'm always amazed at how quickly and easily the more experienced players can identify the characters being used by the other team. They'll get just a quick glimpse of an enemy and be like "ok Valkyrie is over in the corner!" and I'm like huh? I just saw an enemy player and that's all I know.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I would definitely agree that the learning curve is the steepest of most if not all FPS games out there. And unfortunately, at this stage of the game's life cycle its only going to get tougher as people figure out more and better ways to approach each map.

Map navigation is absolutely crucial in this game. If you don't know entry points or where enemies may come from then you are screwed.
I was the same way when I started playing this and I usually excel at FPS shooters. I was getting absolutely wrecked round after round but once I figured out maps and how to flank properly given the location, I started seeing my name at the top of the leaderboard more often. This game really rewards tactical movement, so think about that when you approach it.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Man all I ever play is terrorist hunt co-ops. Really nervous to get into the pvp side but I REALLY want to use the defender operators I've unlocked. I'd just play unranked anyway as I know I wont be elite, but I never cared about that.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
PC question.
Is there no way to invite more people or return to the main menu from a Terrorist Hunt on PC without disbanding your party? If anyone wants to buy something, someone DCs or anything else happens we have to quit, which disbands the whole squad and reform it.
Surely we're missing something... right?Comment
