I don't know if this was lag, a cheat or a bug but when the guy walks through the garage opening he disappears on me then reappears directly behind me. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/phNJCg3t9zs" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

How many of you guys play on Xbox? How are the servers these days? I may pick this game up if I can find the gold edition on the cheap.

I play on Xbox One. I originally got it for PS4 but none of my friends were on there so I traded to get the Xbox One copy.

I like this game enough that I was going to pick up a copy on XB1 if my PS4 friends are ever not playing.

Played last night, and as bad as the servers had been since The Division's release, they were ridiculously good last night. Found Ranked games in a minute or less, whether we had 4 or 5, and in game the netcode seemed relatively on point. This could have been a random thing and they're going to be cat poop again going forward but it was a welcome change from what it's been.

Had a nice comeback as we were tied at 2 rounds & I was the last one left & the enemy tried rushing me. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/DaO6wFCUyP0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Thanks even when it has issues I still enjoy the game alot. The first thing I do when I'm outnumbered badly is go on the defensive depending on time left. Most times they will try to rush to swarm you in numbers but it can also backfire. It's the one game that makes my heart race at times.

                  Re: Rainbow Six Siege

I still play this a decent amount. A good amount of issues seemed to be ironed out at this point. There's still slight latency issues no matter your connection. I might just be spoiled from playing so much CSGO where that game is seemingly flawless regarding latency and hit detection issues. There's still times where "ghost kills" happen for me and against me. I've just come to accept it.

One annoying issue my group has run into is multiple people with walls. We've probably come across 3 people using them over 2 weeks which is too many people in my opinion. 2 people admitted to using them during the match(which was probably idiotic and made Ubi's job easier with banning them) and the 3rd never used chat during the match.

This game is still fun. It hasn't reached it's potential in my opinion and it's starting to look like it might never do that. I accept it for what it is at this point and am no longer expecting a game as polished as CSGO. This is more like Red Orchestra 2 where I've just come to accept the slight latency in it even when you have a connection with <30 ping.

I'm not upset by this. I'd rather be able to play games relatively consistently over a nerfed Frost shotty and nerfed Uzi.

Approaching 200 hours and feel like my game is coming into it's own finally. Map knowledge is so crucial. I knew so much more at every 50 hour interval and continue to learn.

I've noticed that when having appearing offline on for the PS4 you get a session error after you play a game be it 3 rounds or the full 5 in casual. I tested it with appearing online on & it's fine must be a conflict with the new PS4 feature. I never tried it in ranked so can't comment on that. I normally play with it on but it should be looked into. Has anyone else had the same issue on the PS4?

Ok, after some more play I'm... disappointed.

Despite the nice environmental physics and the nuanced tactics it permits, the actual action is pretty arcade. Really, your aim, arms, and body movement moves in a way as fast, clean and precise as in a CS game. The ending result is that, even if tactics and teamwork is a factor, CS-like twitch headshot reflexes still rule the day. Strange mix, really. I won't say it's crap or anything, but instead of the ARMA/Stalker/Original R6/Ghost Recon-like experience I hoped for, you have more of a CS-plus-physics one.

Probably won't be as funny to you guys as it was to us, but the way this guy crawled up on our teammate killed us. I was beyond amused when it went down lol.

Great session tonight - kills o' plenty. It was a rough one last time I hopped on, so it was nice to actually kill some people this time. Hopefully they drop those new operators soon.

As much as I'm curious to try a game as tactical as you describe, the reality is I don't think they'd sell very many copies. Is Siege as tactical as some games in the series' past? No. Is it as tactical as a AAA FPS gets these days? For sure it is.

At the end of the day, even though there's some twitch gameplay involved, this game let's good tactics and strategy be an equalizer. My modest level of success playing this game can be mostly attributed to the fact that I can out think my opponents. Games like COD, twitch gameplay rules all. I'm personally happy with the balance in this game.
