I'm getting pretty damn annoyed with not being able to play multiplayer for the past...oh..5 days straight. Not sure if it's the PS4 servers or Ubisoft? Both? Either way, pretty irritating!

It's all over the Rainbow6 subreddit and it's mainly a PS4 problem....but since the patch (and in Xbox One's case, before it even) the servers have been a nightmare.

It's a real shame. I wonder how many players they've lost over the past 14 months due to their awful servers and spotty hit registration.

For now they've lost my group again. They had the game going pretty well, but we're out for now. It's a mess. That's 7-8 people there, I imagine there are plenty of groups like us as well.

I had some on and off issues this afternoon connecting and I hit triangle on the main screen and then clicked on my name in the squad screen. Both times I couldn't connect I connected right away when I did this.

I've been "attempting" to grind on ranked, but the servers have been absolutely terrible & this is on PC. So I've been forced to do casual play as the wait times are 10 times shorter.

Yup, they really screwed up this game, unfortunately. I'm on PC, casual is no and hit detection has been better than ever, matchmaking faster than ever. After the last dlc, they remapped some of my controls that I can remap, but after a couple launches goes back to the way it was. Furthermore, at the beginning of every round, sprinting engages chat, the scoreboard and puts me in a crouched position ... Every single time for the first 10 seconds of every round. What the heck. This game is broken.

Sounds like a delete and reinstall is needed, I don't have any of those control issues. I'd be willing to bet its tied to the control mapping issue.

Yes. Some keys have alternate functions no matter what for me. Other ppl on Reddit are claiming the same issues.

Interesting, I've never heard about it or had it happen. That sucks man, I know the feeling though. H1Z1Kotk is a broken piece of crap which I tweeted and talked to the devs over a multi-monitor issue I've been having. Short version is moment I alt-tab or leave game then come back, game performance tanks. Basically they told me they can't help and ask the community............O.o really?!?! ITS YOUR GAME and you are telling us to find solutions to your game. Blew my mind and I haven't played/streamed the game since. I can't support a studio which doesn't even try to address their bugs/issues with their game.

Basically said "We got your money already, we don't need to help you".

Yea, it's like that all around. I can't totally blame them. They should get the basic info from you, but Windows updates, anniversary update has caused so many problems, it's made it hell.

I managed to fix some problems I was having by using the event viewer and looking at the errors. You should try the same. Alt-tab out, and after performance tanks, check the event viewer and Google the problems you're having, if any are listed. I solved problems with three games, but this isn't a Windows issue, it's a ubi issue.

Ever since the Velvet Shell update I have unfortunately been one of many others to suffer from freezing. I've completed 2 whole casual matches in the last 3-4 days with trying multiple times a day to get one in. My PC doesn't lock up, only the game. Between this and For Honor I've had more than enough issues to last me a lifetime. Ubisoft really outdoes themselves.
