It's definitely not necessary. And no season two doesn't get you season one. There is an all encompassing version that includes the game plus the two season passes but since you already have the game, I don't think this would apply to you.

My recommendation? Watch the training videos and do the Situations and that should give you enough credits to open between 4-6 operators right off the hop. If you have the cash and willingness to get a season pass, grab season two which comes with 600 Rainbow Six credits. That amount is enough to unlock one DLC operator from season 1, but then you will automatically unlock the 8 operators that come with season two when they're released.

At that point, you can choose to grind out enough credits to unlock the rest or if one of the DLC operators really tickles your fancy, you can pay $5ish to unlock each one individually.

Lemme know if you need help with which operators to unlock as well.

The last two patches have been great, but for the love of God can Ubi please fix Blitz. He's been broken for what feels like a year now.

        Rainbow Six Siege

I really wanted to pick this one up but a few reviews said they didn't recommend if you're a solo campaign player.

          Because there is no campaign.

Thanks for the recommendations. Started and am through 3 of the Situations so far. So far this game is crazy intense. And most importantly, a lot of fun!

Finally Bought this Tuesday it's currently $20 on psn store

& as a beginner what do u guys recommend I start with to help get me on the right path for best success thx

Pretty sure you need to get both Season pass' in order to get all the benefits of both. They do have a version of the game that will include everything, but you already own the game, so...

I just released an app called R6S Tactics that allows you to view the floor plans of every map in the game, as well camera locations and callout names. You can also draw and place icons in order to share strategies with your friends. Download it here for Android and iOS.

Just note that the iOS version is still on a previous build, so only House is available until Apple approves the new update. Hope you guys find it useful!

On offence, I'd recommend Thatcher, Thermite and Ash, in that order. On defense go Rook and then either Jager or Bandit. Most importantly, don't unlock the next guy until you've unlocked the items for your load out that you want.

Played this for the first time in a while -- the Kapkan game is still strong. I never did get to see the Favela map on the previous update and I haven't see the newest one either. I've really got to run this more, I missed it.

You PS4 or Xbox? I play this almost daily and split my time between the two consoles. There isn't an OS group that really plays but there are a few guys on here that play regularly.

                                Add me if you like:
