Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I've just about had it with the game as the deliberate team killing is way out of hand. Happened again in my first round of the day. I want friendly fire off at least in casual or I'll be putting the game away for good. I'm all for realism but not when this keeps happening routinely.
Then the next match I got team killed again (different team), but for some reason I didn't even get an option of voting to kick. No idea why it wouldn't come up. Is there some sort of timer where you can only vote once every five minutes or something?
I think there just need to be bans after you TK more than one person. I realize turning it off completely would alter the gameplay a good bit, but there doesn't seem to be enough of a consequence for doing it. Terrorist Hunt is no better and I would imagine even less of a concern for TK'ers. All that happens is they lose points.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I'll state yet again that, when this game is working and everyone is on the same page, it is unrivaled in the FPS genre. I had a party of 3 with 2 of my work friends this morning, and the randoms on our team were playing well as a team with us. I had my personal best game on House, where I went 7-0 and we got a flawless victory. After that, we followed it up with another flawless victory where neither myself or either of my buddies died once in any of the three rounds.
Just such a satisfying experience with friends, assuming that the other guys on the team don't team kill or act like idiots. We had a gameplan each round, and despite any offensive the enemy team tried to mount, we had all bases covered and stopped them in their tracks.
If only the game was as fun hopping in solo, but I'd say I get team killed in 50% of the games I play in like that.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Yeah that's the best way to go for sure. I tend to lone wolf it as I usually play for short spells but I'll try to hook up with some of you guys in the future. I hope you guys don't mind my potato aim.lol

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Haha, I think I've just been extremely unlucky with my experiences with this game in particular.
If I didn't run into so many issues and got a consistent polished experience, then I'd be in here telling everyone to pick this up now because when it actually works, it's probably my favorite shooter and one of my favorite games I have.
The only problem is it doesn't work fairly consistent for me. I run into things like some of the videos posted before on a nightly basis.
EDIT: Like right now, playing my second match of the night and they've been some of the worst I've experienced. We won the first match 4-1 and I went 6-1 or 7-1, but my death came from me getting 9-10 hit markers on a guy before he turned around and killed me in one burst. And then I had a couple kills where I snuck up some people and it took about 5 headshots to finally get the kill.
I really don't understand it.
And to top it off just now, the final round of that last match, I got behind Pulse and put 5 shots from Twitch's 417 into his back. It wasn't silenced, just had a sight on it. Pulse turns around and kills me in his first 5 shots, his health bar pops up, he still has 80%+ of his health left. I had 40-50 ping all match. Something just isn't right with the game or my connection. There's no reason that 5 hits from her 417 should not have killed him or at the very least dropped him. Apparently it only did 20 damage at most.Last edited by canes21; 02-10-2016, 09:53 PM.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Like many of you I've been seeing alot more issues since the 2.0 patch with the two most annoying ones being the scarecrow and the unregistered hits. Game changing, bordering on Game breaking. But I'll consider myself one of the more fortunate ones as I've not experienced it as often.

Don't focus on the knife not working, but look at how it takes 24 shots to kill Glaz. 24! That's what I'm seeing very often (as in every game almost it seems).“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
I don't know how long I'll continue being successful with it, but I was getting a lot of assists from injuring people with Frost. The shotgun attachment with Buck isn't bad either.Comment

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
On paper the patch looks nice. The headshots being fixed will be huge if true. And hopefully that means issues like the video a few posts ago is fixed and it won't take 24 shots to kill anyone.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: Rainbow Six Siege
Early in the afternoon I was having the same issues on PS4, so I think it's a server-wide issue, not necessarily anything to do with the patch.
