One thing that this game is missing that is XP. I seem to fight a lot of the monsters, but really since they don't drop money there isn't much of a point in the random world encounters. Sure you get stuff resources, but most of the weapon drops aren't worth damaging your better stuff to get. If there are those skull chests that open up after a fight, those are worth it, but random battles, without XP sometimes I just run away instead of damaging my weapons.

Anybody get really good weapons that don't get damaged as much yet? I'm still really early in the game, just made it to the town that Impa sends you to.

Nope. I've had a bunch of weapons but all get damaged. I normally carry around like 3 good weapons (2 good 1H, and 1 good 2H), 1 boomerang, 1 of the warhammers (used for mining only) and then a bunch of junk weapons to run through camps and random monsters with.

Have you been able to expand your weapon and bow inventory slots? That will be a priority for me if you can.

Yes. Weapon/Bow/Shield can be expanded. I don't know how many more slots per page you get when fully upgraded (I'd assume it works out to ~one full page) but it is definitely something you can do.

Good to know. Is that through quests or through money purchases? I haven't seen much in terms of money making in this game since you can't find rupees in the grass or pots. I want to buy me some new outfits to help with defense and stealth, but was wondering if I needed to save for inventory expansion as well.

I have seen some talk on other forums of people unhappy with the weapo management/durability system, but honestly I like it. Makes me stay on top of my inventory and plan ahead

Still messing around in the Great Plateau....get into a fight with some Bokoblins, one KOs me off this ridge into a lake, I look up as I'm swimming and see a little elevated island in the middle with a stone and sword sticking out of it....you know what I'm thinking so I swim to it and climb up and...............it's a rusted broadsword.

Nintendo trolling me lol....this game man.....

                        Hahahaha

Oh the hate against this game is so unwarranted

                        I played skyrim
                        I played fallout
                        I played gta 4 and 5

                        You name it

This game is actually intuitive and fun and very easy to navigate "in my opinion"(gotta say that around here app.)

Is there a way to drop a weapon without going through the main menu? Is there a way from the quick menu I haven't figured out yet? Wasn't there a way to through your weapon? I guess that could work but not for shields or bows.

Took over 10 hours but I am finally off the Great Plateau. Experienced one too many "hey, what's that over there" moments. Don't regret a single one.

Just took out my first Divine Beast! Took a good 2-3 hours with the dungeon and boss. Felt very Dark Souls like at the very end! Did it with only 4 hearts and pretty crappy gear. This game is becoming one of my all times favorites.
