Can't wait to play this game for the first time. Trying not to read other peoples comments too much. So many people have such high praise I don't want to overhype it for me. Seems hard to do though, crazy critical acclaim for this title. Seriously can't wait. Super stoked

The Last Of Us has a great story, characters, graphics, music, sound and gameplay. However, Ellie's AI will aggravate and frustrate you and leaves a lot to be desired. The camera being in a "fixed location behind your character's back" will also aggravate and frustrate you at times. Definitely a must play, an excellent 9/10 and the best survival horror type game since Resident Evil 4 but it's not perfect or a classic.

You can be hyped. Nothing wrong with that but too many people including critics think that it's a perfect game. It's not. I'm hyped to play it again and have three days off from work starting Tuesday to do just that and while im looking forward to playing the game a second time, it being a dead summer and the delay of The Evil Within definitely affects that.

In the end, I hope you enjoy the game.

You haven't played it yet? Get hyped, get very hyped. It will exceed whatever expectations you have. Other than The Elder Scrolls and Fallout games, this was the best game I've ever played.

Have to ask as im very curious...what was the first gaming console that you ever owned and played?

Played through it on the PS3 and you WILL NOT be disappointed.

For you first timers:

1) Take your time playing this game...the beauty of the game is mindblowing & the flow is just perfect!

2) Play this game on the MOST DIFFICULT option - it really makes you appreciate the scarcity of the materials to craft through the game and it's the most realistic IMO.

3) Most importantly, have a blast...I wish I had a "M.I.B. mind-eraser thing" to erase my mind from when I beat the game on the PS3, because I want to experience it for the first time again....

The one thing I'm super pumped about is the photo mode. That's one thing that's great about Sony exclusives moving forward. It seems like it will be in all Sony exclusives from this point forward.

No comparison, TLoU isn't a horror game. There are some tense spots, but it's not like Outlast at all.

I'm sure I'll grab it at some piont as I really want to play the DLC. Just not ready to drop 50.00 on a game I've played already even though it's a jump graphically a bit.

I don't recall any jump scares but there are definitely tense moments in the game that will get your heart racing.

My thought as well. May pick up in the fall when the price drops (Black Friday) just to see it again.

I never have been one that could play through games a second time, although I didn't play MP on the first one.

My bad y'all, for some reason I thought it was a horror, or at least part horror game. Shows how little I really know about it.

Going to GS to pay off the pre-order. Wonder if they are doing a midnight release.

I sat out the PS3 version, so I will definitely be getting this, but I'm going to wait for it to go on sale. I've waited long enough for it, I can wait a tad longer.
