I am renting it from GameFly, should be here tomorrow or Wednesday. I played it already on PS3 and it was terrific. I may end up buying it from GF just to keep it in my collection. I didn't keep the PS3 version cause I knew I the console was in it's last days. My wife got me the strategy guide, which, while completely unnecessary, is really nice. Gonna play through this again and enjoy it, hope this and The Show tides me over until Madden.

As many have said in this thread and the original TLOU thread, I envy the guys playing this for the first time. It is special. And I hear the new 60 fps is a real difference maker.

As is for most games, which is why I hope most titles push toward this if it means "little" sacrifices (by that I mean if shadow detail has to be softened, then so be it). At the very least, give us the option.

How scary is it compared to Outlast, as far as "jump scares?"

I can't remember at what point in the game this was, but it was when you faced your first bloater in that dark basement when you needed to turn on those generators.

I wasn't expecting to see an enemy like that and it literally made me jump. I was running out of ammo too to make matters worse. When that moment happened, I 100% fell in love with The Last of Us.

Just went to preorder this at gamestop. There's a 30% extra bonus trading in toward the last of us, didn't know about it until I looked at my receipt

I'll be trading in Watch Dogs to Wal-Mart ($35 trade in value) tomorrow and picking this bad boy up.

Somebody mentioned in the other thread to play the DLC Left Behind after a certain point in the story. Will I know when that is as I'm playing?

I originally had it for PS3 but only got about 2 hours into it because It was one of those guy buying sprees when I got it (crazy Steam sales, etc) so I just had way too much to play to put time to it. I later traded it in thinking id get it again on sale later. So now it's coming to my PS4 and I'm ALL OVER THIS!!! It will be like a brand new game to me.

bloater, I knew that generator was going to make a racket so I hauled *** ASAP once I turned it on. It wasn't until later on here that I found out a bloater was down there.

Unfortunately, I think Left Behind needs to be unlocked.

Though I can't confirm that.

I'd tell you when to do the switch, but since I don't want to spoil anything, it's not worth spoiling things unless we know it's for sure not an "unlockable."

I would just play the main game and when done play Left Behind. It works fine that way.

You can lock the FPS at 30 if it bothers you.

I can't imagine it would be Bad. If so, there's an option to turn it back to 30 FPS. So yeah. I love Naughty Dog.
