Map: Volskaya. Reinhardt, Bastion, and and Torbjorn (with turret) are all camped on top of the bunker near objective A - I'm pretty sure they got boosted there by a Mei ice wall. Reinhardt is protecting both of the other two. They end up barely getting a scratch, mowing down our whole team at the chokepoint and I don't think my team even managed to set foot on the objective area one time.

The normal counter to two of the three - Tracer - gets stuffed hard by two things. One - height advantage, Two - Torbjorn's turret. A blink from the other platforms might get you close enough to drop a pulse bomb on the bunker. But that's all you're getting before being shot dead, so better hope you got it close enough.

My thoughts (and unfortunately it didn't occur to me until way too late) would be to try to push Rein off of there by any means necessary. D.Va' s Boost + Defense Matrix could ram him, or Pharah's knockback beam. I'm not sure if the latter goes through shields though - I know D.va's boost does.

An area nuke would at least force Mei to reset this too, and D.Va would once again get the nod with her self-destruct.

Any of this would have to be coordinated with the team actually pushing once one of these things happened, and that's why we never stood a chance in this game.
Yeah that's tricky. Here's what I would try. Pick Reaper, get ult. Exit spawn and go the left. You can use his shadow step ability to teleport to the platform I'm aiming at here:

From there you have two options:
    1. Go all the way behind:

    2. Walk up the stairs next to the platform:

Now you are behind their wall without taking a lick of damage. Death blossom for POTG and take point A.

I like the D.va idea. You definitely need quick & high dps. Preferably in an aoe attack which D.va's ult fits quite nicely.

      Other potential options:
Maybe the team could load up on Phara and just rain down some rocket terror.

Reapers with their teleport are also a possibility. They might need to be protected by a Reinhardt in order for it to work. Though they could also get melted as they are teleporting so maybe not.

I faced a team this weekend which you wouldn't expect to be OP but its was pretty beastly. 6 Agent 76's, powerful weapon, good speed/maneuverability, and all with heals.......its wasn't unbeatable but they surely cut down players quick quick.

Too much good TV on last night with Thrones, Silicon Valley and Preacher so I didn't get to play now I feel like I am in withdrawal. Going to be a healthy dose of twitch in my office today.

I randomly chose bastion for a game. Disgusting. Dps is outrageous. Had a mercy buff me. Game over man.

My fav characters are soldier, tracer, and Symmetra. I used to like road hog. Pull out black widow on occasion to get rid of Auto turret midget and bastions.

Must have been playing against some pretty bad randoms. Bastion isn't all that good if you're playing against a team that knows what they're doing. Obviously depends on the makeup of the rest of the team. Someone should take out your mercy immediately and then get behind or next to you.

Never knew about that platform being accessible from the attack start area. Looks like Pharah could reach it too, and maybe a 3-blink Tracer (that might be stretching it a bit though) I should really go in and explore the maps for more stuff like this - Reaper's teleport might have a lot more functionality that I thought.

Edit: Yep, Tracer can cross it too. The timing's a little tight though and you need the right angle to make it a straight shot. Can do it consistently with a little practice though. That wouldn't have helped much in the example I posted, but will be invaluable for dealing with unprepared defense teams.

Now that the game's been out a few weeks, people are starting to do some really interesting things. I saw a Reaper shadow step that in a post on the Overwatch subreddit, otherwise I never would've thought to do it myself.

Similarly, the places Lucio can go with his wall ride are crazy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7h0Wgis2t6Y

Yeah I've seen some crazy Lucio stuff in my games too. Plus he gets really difficult to hit when he's skating around on the walls.

Even Widow can get across that gap with her grappling hook. Now THAT might have been useful in dealing with that bunker combo - Widow one-shots Bastion from the rear and that group loses a lot of firepower. That grappling hook has a huge range, apparently.

They should honestly replace the death penalty with forcing inmates to play this game with randoms. There is no greater punishment than that.

I get so furious playing with randoms. How I can pull 5 guys aggro away from the objective yet my team can't capitalize on that by taking the point is beyond me. Too many hanzo widomakers trying to put up snipe montages on YouTube. And too many Trobjorns and Bastions taking the easy way out and having no actual awareness of the situations in front of them.

So I haven't played in several days? What did the patch do? My main (so far) D.va got boosted? I couldn't really tell. I had two good games, but I mean I had good games with her like 90% of the time already.
