I disagree. Sure, it's easy to push the ultimate key/button and have him do his thing, but half the battle is figuring out when to use it because he takes damage and isn't difficult to kill while using it. A lot of the ultimates are like that though

We both just disagree on the topic.

It kills really fast and essentually the only Damage Ult in the game you dont have to aim, how isnt that the easiest to use? Not to mention is a dome like hit box.

Even Torbs Alt has a rivet gun he aims and needs a turret in the area to benefit.

I used him a lot as I know you have but I just feel so dirty using him and feel he has the easiest alt in the game to use.

Even Soldier 77 has too look somewhat at you and cant damage everyone at once.

76 and McCree don't have to be aimed either just need them in line of sight, he is definitely not the only one like that.

McCree cant instantly do damage from the .1 second of his ultimate happening, not to mention slow walks and has to be in view the whole time not doing anything before he can damage people. As I said above Soldier 76 needs to at least aim at you (General direction) somewhat and cant damage everyone at once.

Reaper is essentially Di (Everyone hurt) and can move pretty well in his alt at that.

All it takes is one Lucio to bump him away from everyone and he won't kill anyone. It's all about timing and being close.

Mercy's rez is easily the most annoying. Men's blizzard a close second. If you have a reaper in the game and people are stacking on an objective and not flanking then yes, he is incredibly annoying. I had a game where I was a healer urging our attackers to get off the payload and cover the flanks and of course they refused and reaper won the game.

                Overwatch

I don't really have a dog in this fight, I see what both sides are saying. I think both sides are right. Here's my crappy take on it: Soldier only hits one person at a time in his LOS, McCree there's typically an ample opportunity to hide before he can get a full lock. My only real issue with reaper is how high (as in straight above him) the damage pbAOE goes. I feel like if I jettison up with Pharah and I'm as far as I can get above him I shouldn't be getting melted by the ultimate still. But I guess I can also admit that Pharah would be too easy a counter to Reaper if jetting up solved all problems so I digress. Honestly I don't have huge issues. I've never had a team wipe with Reapers ult no matter how many times I tried, so there's definitely skill involved in nailing the timing and placement

Like I said in the thread earlier, I hate when my team is all 6 of us bunched together. Gotta have at least 2 or 3 guys spread out a bit or Reaper (among many others) is gonna have a field day

That's the thing. The guy complaining was Pharah and, if you watch the first part of the video, he wasted his entire ult and killed nobody. He had his chance to stop me and he didn't.

The team should always know where the other team's reaper is. If you're all looking away from me in the same direction, then I got you and I'm not sorry. I didn't even teleport in there. I was just walking around.

                    Re: Overwatch

My issue with reaper is that LOS doesn't seem to make a difference as often as it should. Maybe it was a bug, but I've been on the other side of the payload when he did his ult several feet away and he still got me while I was crouched. Either way I don't have a problem with his ult. It murders teams that stack up so don't do that. Also, there are many cases where you have a short opportunity to either kill him or hit him away before he can start wreaking havoc. That being said, yes it's very powerful but overall I'm fine with such powerful ults.

Eh, for as many times as I hear "Die. Die. Die" there's a good amount of times I hear it get stuffed with Reaper going down after 1 "Die". It punishes teams who group too close together, which means it can be good at the end of games because everyone is around to point/payload trying to score/defend. At any other point on the map your team shouldn't be that close together though. He'll still get 1 or 2 kills, but that's what most ult's give you anyway.

I'd still consider ults from Mercy, Lucio and Zarya as stronger than it.

People continue to underestimate Zarya. Fine by me. Once people start to realize how powerful she is they're going to kick themselves for having not played her more.

Yes. Zarya is quickly rising to one the most annoying characters to play against. A well played one obviously. That and a well played Mei. I had a guy sniping me with her right click from like 20 to 30 feet a way and landing headshots. I was so annoyed.

I rarely see a reaper play of the game on the Pc anymore. Junk rat on the other hand. Those tire potg's are pretty much guaranteed. I played junk rat and got a POTG on my first go with him.
