My favorite moment was the very end, the team tried to run a 3 torbjorn, 2 Bastion, 1 mercy combo on defense and we walked right through them. Hot knife thru buttah

The bulk of people on here playing this on PS4? I'm gonna snag this tomorrow and would love to play with some of you suckas.

I try to get an OS group going every time I play. Feel free to add me we typically manage to get at least 2-3 OSers together pretty consistently and get a full 6 pretty often

For those that didn't watch the here are highlights of the Competetive Mode Dev Update

Some highlights:

The season length is increasing, and will now be around 3 months. More specifically, it’ll technically last about 2 and a half months, with a couple of weeks of downtime in-between different seasons.

They’re tweaking overtime, so that it happens less often. The idea is to make it more exciting when it does happen.

The “Assault” format has been changed in certain maps, like Hanamura and Temple of Anubis. Specifically, they want to make sure there is more back and forth between the teams, rather than having these maps flip quickly.

There will be no more tiers. Instead, players will get something known as “MMR” (which you’re probably familiar with if you play MOBAs.) Players will also get a skill rating that is between 1-100, and when you finish your placement matches, the game will show you your specific skill rating relative to other players.

Everyone can see your skill rating when you go into a match. Matches will also inform you of team’s overall skill rating. Sometimes, you’ll be in matches with people who are not at your exact skill rating. Underdogs in these matches stand to gain more and lose less under this system.
You’ll be able to tell at a glance if people came into the match partied up.

There will be rewards for players who do well, and these rewards will be cosmetic. Sprays and player icons for people who participate in the season, and a “golden gun” system as well, which will make your weapons cooler. Kaplan also said that top players will get unique exclusive rewards too.

This new system may not be perfect, but Blizzard hopes it is evident that it is the result of listening to player feedback. “The downside of a system like this, just to be frank, is that you’re gonna go down [in rank] sometimes,” Kaplan said. “It’s not always a climb up the ladder, there are gonna be times when your skill rating is actually gonna go down.”

Oh yeah, forgot overtime. That will be a VERY welcome change. When Attack can push all the way from a first checkpoint to the end all during OT, something's wrong.

I would love a mode where you can ban a player from the other team and you have to "draft" a team.

Last night we had a random mercy join us after a couple OSers dropped that dude was amazing, he single handedly won a match for us (basically) when he received 4 people right on the objective multiple times. He was awesome and got POTG for one of his rez's. I loved seeing that

Also, I heard on a different site that the devs are gonna add a slider for aim-assist strength on console. If true, then thank goodness. In combat sometimes it feels like there's an anchor on my reticle that I'm dragging around as I aim

Hoping to get some more games in tonight. Close to not having any more gaming (kid due in two weeks) so trying to get as much in as possible.

What's going to be bad is this game is awesome. I was playing earlier today and thinking that you can really change the game with any character if played correctly . Other than tjorb turret being 360 instant lock on and strong and dvas range of explosions I really don't have a problem with any character seeming overpowered

I'm addicted to using Torbjorn on defense now. I got some of the lamest play of the games tonight. I almost feel embarrassed when I see my name pop up before the highlight hits.

Hey so this random guy joined us. We play one game it's a close game, we lost at the last second. All of sudden we hear someone screaming in the background YOU CANT EVEN HOLD A ****ing POINT, and cussing up a storm, like legit rage scream, and we think it's his roommate or something but what he did was take his headset off so it was muffled, like he was trying to cover the mic, he screams for like 12 seconds, then gets back on the mic and is like "bad game" and rage quits the group

The three of us remaining (myself, Zanner, and Sbauer) kinda sit in there in silence for like 3 seconds and the someone was just like "wait, did that just happen? Did he just rage quit?" And I lost it, laughed so hard,

Crazy times.

Pretty hilarious. At first I had no idea what was going on. I knew someone was yelling but had no idea who it was. Just figured someone had an upset roommate or friend over. But then when he disappeared all of a sudden I had a pretty good idea.

Yeah Torbjorn can have some sad plays of the game. I had one earlier of me dieing than my turrent killing the other team while I lay on the ground lol

I thought it was someone in room with him playing another game or on another TV. But, turns out we experienced a legit rage quit and everything that comes with it, lol.

And my favorite play of game was Jared's where he died and turret ended up shooting one guy. Haha.

I got a legendary Zenyatta skin the other day, so I started using him a **** ton, now he's like my favorite character. I just wish my team would notice the discord over the other team'so head more often.

Side note: I've gotten super lucky with loot boxes so far I think. I have B.VA, Devil Mercy, and Sunyatta already at level 31, all three are in my top 5 most used and are some of my favorite skins. Also got One of the Speed Racer Tracers who I sometimes use. AND the Plague Doctor, but I don't use Reaper. Admittedly, I spent 10 bucks on extra loot boxes, but still pretty good results compared to others. I want the ability to trade or something. Still need a Pharah one that isn't the one that came with the game, Gold Frog Lucio, and maybe a Torbjorn and then I'll be pretty set.
