OK, not sure if you saw this, but it's finally actual (non-developer) gameplay. Yeah, the guy playing is annoying (in my opinion), but it gives you a sense of what the game is like.

Never played this series before... Are there large amounts of missions? Items to collect?

I know 2 had lots of things to do. Anywhere you went there was action, even if it wasn't an actual "mission".

I liked 2 because it had pretty much every environment possible: I think there was desert, tropical island, beaches, forest, city, snowy mountains...you name it!

Looks like 3 will feature the same variety.

If you can, find a cheap copy of Just Cause 2. Should give you a decent idea of how 3 will be.

I never played 2 but I think I have it on my ps3 from a PS+ freebie. Should give it a go.
