Just wish this series had worthwhile melee combat. That aspect of the game doesnt appear to have improved from the first game in the series. After Sleeping Dogs, The WBGames (Arkham/MiddleEarth/MadMax) and even GTA its hard to go back to an Open World game that doesn't even give you a Crackdown level of melee. I know I know, not that type of game.

Yeah, map looks BIG and looks like we are getting many types of scenery - just like JC2.

I just wish they had better car damage/physics. I know it's supposed to be arcady and silly, but it's fun to see cars get wrecked more and more. Wrecking cars should be part of open-world games with cars/driving, even if it's not the focal point. They did mention something about cars having realistic parts taken apart (or something like that), I just don't remember seeing it. Unless my definition is different than the developers'.

This game looks like awesome fun. Just curious for those have played JC1 and 2. Are there challenging encounters? I like that you can pull off crazy stuff, but I would also like a sense of danger when taking down bases.

I was thinking about picking up FO4 then remembered this game came out soon...as much as I want to play FO4 I think it will be put on the backburner for this.

I absolutely LOVED JC2 and this looks to be more of the same but even better...the wingsuit is going to be an absolute blast.

Going by JC2, there were some intense firefights, but JC2 wasn't as crazy as 3. I think it was easier to kill soldiers in 2 and the death animations were horrible...guys would fly 10 feet after taking 2 bullets...it was like they were made of paper. It looks much better in 3.

I think you can always play it on the ground without tricks, if you wish. I actually decided, for a while, to drive cars rather than use the parachute to get from A to B. I didn't like JC2's car physics/handling, but it may be better this time around (I sure hope so, as I always like using cars in open-world games, even if I don't have to).

This game was meant to be pure fun with little realism. I understand that, but still hope for SOME realism.

Yeah, definitely. I just hope there's some challenge to it. I see that the previous games have difficulty levels, so that should take care of it.

This has officially become my next non-sports purchase. Just need to finish the Halo 5 campaign and then it's on to JC3.
