The costume prices are completely outrageous. $4.00?! I bought both both stages like a moron though lol. So I guess even with complaining I'm part of the issue lol.

I said the same thing. I want the new Laura costume and one for Ibuki and Balrog, but I don't have the season pass and I just paid for Balrog (I had enough Fight Money for Ibuki). I'm gonna have to piece this thing together lol. Owning season pass finally makes sense. It only took until July.

Season pass has only got me the 4 characters and their battle outfits. As well as the Guile stage as a "sorry". Not sure how much guys are. But I guess battle outfits would be 16 for those alone and the stage is $4. So decent value so far but everything is still way overpriced

            What are everyone's fighter IDs?

I just signed up as jyoungOS

I probably won't play online until I get my fightpad in the mail next week since I'm stuck using the Dualshock while I clear out the single player modes. But once that arrives I'll be playing this online a bunch since we've got several weeks to kill until all the sports games start coming out.

              My fighterID is razorkaos.

You can play at a good level even using the Dualshock, and depending on your style of play, it may be better to use the dualshock than a fightpad

It's my case: I just can't play with a fightpad because of the layout of the buttons, since I don't use this kind of controller since the Sega Saturn.

I would even need to re-learn how to use an arcade stick, and I've spent more than 10 years in the arcades, playing KoF.

I've never liked any of Sony's dpads going back to the original playstation. I've always played fighters better with Sega-style dpads where the entire pad is present instead of just the four nubs. Having all 6 buttons on the front of the controller is also essential for me.

So far I'm glad I didn't get the Season Pass since I've already unlocked Guile and Balrog in one day of playing single player. I was also pumped to see Sean show up during Laura's story mode. What are the odds that Sean makes it into season 2 since season 1 had two third strike and two world warrior characters? Sean and Dudley were my go-to guys in third strike. I doubt Dudley shows up anytime soon though since he and Balrog have such similar moves.

I don't think Sean will make the roster.

He's Ken's pupil in SF3, which happens after SFV.

In SFV's story mode, Sean meets Ken for the first time, and it doesn't even seem like Sean is a fighter at the time.

So, it's almost safe to say that he only started fighting after learning under Ken, in SFV.

Dudley would be awesome and as far as we know, he already was a fighter before SF3, so it's possible that Capcom will include him in the game.

Another SF3 character that can make a return is Oro.

Twelve and Necro would not make sense in SFV due to chronological issues.

Yun and Yang can make a return. Makoto also could appear in the game.

The story mode is filled with funny moments. Fang is a incredible hype man for byson. Urien feels powerful to use. I'm going to replay story mode on the harder difficulty.

Everyone should replay the story mode on Extra mode because it nets you 50k Fight Money.

Both modes combined grants you 80k FM, almost a new character (100k)

The ending to that story mode makes me think we'll be getting a second story DLC sometime later on with a big focus on Gill and Urien.

Exactly, and it would also be a good way to introduce the characters from "season 2"

Just had a nice 2 hour set online. I did pretty decent with Ibuki, but I still have a long way to go before I feel like I have her down. I was getting bodied against my friend's Mika. It was bad lol.

I enjoy Balrog a ton. I've never really been a charge guy, but I'm having fun with him. He's very simple to use and I'm glad his ultra is a motion to pull off instead of double 360's. I don't think I've lost with him yet. He's definitely added to the fold now.

Laura now has some squad members to break bread with. I'm thinking about maybe messing around with Alex next and see if I can do anything with him.

I also got around to finishing up the story. Very cool stuff. I'd like to see them continue it in season 2. Juri and Urien look badass as well. Excellent update.

Playing against the CPU on those harder difficulties is good for figuring out which moves are safe after being blocked and which moves will get punished after being blocked. The AI will counter you hardcore if you use any move that's unsafe on those higher settings.

I'm 17K shy of getting the fourth character unlocked after finishing the story mode twice. I just need to do a couple of people's survival mode on normal and then I won't have to bother with farming fight money in the single player modes again until Urien and Juri are released. This is good timing, because my fightpad should be arriving tomorrow and then I'll be ready to go online.
