I have played 2 hours and so far it is good but not groundbreaking. So far it just seems like a run of the mill action game. Hopefully it gets better as I play more. One thing that sticks out is the targeting system. It is complete *** when fighting more than one baddie

yeah, i'm having fun but going against a ton of guys kinda sucks...I just ran through 2 quests after doing the beginning stuff, so it's still got time to go. I'll enjoy going through this, but not sure if it'll end up being better than KOTOR, right now i'm doubting that

Better than KOTOR??? So far it does not even belong in the same sentence. There have been plenty of games this gen that have grabbed me a lot faster than this.

That being saidf I have only done 4 quests so it could drastically change. It is a very good game so far but the hype machine really got to it IMO

Better than KOTOR??? So far it does not even belong in the same sentence. There have been plenty of games this gen that have grabbed me a lot faster than this.

I've been playing for about 4 hours and I absolutely love it. The game really lets you play however you want but it's also easy to hop back into the quests. I made a post over at IGN about THE RULES OF MORTFABLE. I think they sum up why I like the game so much:


The first rule of mortfable is if you call me a chicken chaser you will die.
The second rule of mortfable is if I see a chicken, it will be punted.
The third rule of mortfable is if you are female I will be trying to get a piece of that ***.
The fourth rule of mortfable is that the bar is where it's at.
The fifth rule of mortfable is that this game is awesome.
The sixth rule of MortFable is that I might kill you just because.
The seventh rule of MortFable is alcohol will be consumed in vast amounts.
The eighth rule of MortFable is that even though I'm straight I may have a couple drinks and try to seduce a man. Or punt a chicken. Or maybe seduce a man and then punt a chicken at him.
The ninth rule of MortFable is an arrow to the crotch.
The tenth rule of MortFable is that sleep is overrated.
The eleventh rule of MortFable is if I so desire I will kick your corpse and fart in its general direction.


The bottom line is you will get out of this game what you put into it. If you really get into the world there are so many things you can do. If you just want to run from point A to point B I think the game will seem pretty average. This game lets me actually express my sense of humor, which is pretty damn rare in a 1 player videogame.

If you want to get the most out of this game, interact with everybody, and everything. That's where the experience lies to me. If you blaze through it, you will be left wanting.

Did anyone have the bard sing your song for you? It's cool cuz it changes as you do.

I do like this game, might love it, just need to play it more. BTW what's up with XBL aware? SO what? There's no point to it. Are they donna have D/C later?

One thing I noticed is that I believe that playing as good or evil will be two pretty different games...I noticed the option to take a quest where I defended a barn, or lead bad guys in to loot the same barn...

From what I read most of the quests are that way. So not really a whole different game. Just doing the quest from the other side.
