That I don't know, but I would assume the save files will still be there unless you delete them.

        Re: Mass Effect: Andromeda

So, I had no intention of using any of my 10 hours on single player. Well, what had happened was........I was sitting in front of the tv just getting ready to play when my wife walked in, wanting to talk. Not about anything in particular. Just general conversation. Well, I didn't want to be rude so so I put YouTube on to play in the background while we conversed. After awhile, a MEA Character Creator video came on and she watched it and gave comments on the player's custom Ryder. After awhile, she said, "Oh, make yours!" So she sat on the couch while we tried to make versions of ourselves as the Ryder twins. Then, she said, "Now you gotta play it to see how they look." So I started the single player campaign. She watched me play the Prologue and then she went to bed. I kept playing. Now I'm at the first open world planet. The game is flat out fun. Fun enough to where I don't notice facial animations. I, personally, haven't seen any jank either. But yeah, the game is fun and as far as I'm concerned, that's far more important than having every animation be pitch perfect.

Definitely one of those games where time just flies while you're playing it. Started this up at about midnight, before I knew it was 5am. I don't really go hard like that with video games anymore, cause adulting, etc. but seems like there's just so much to do everywhere you go.

Fell in love with this game after ME2 and I'm excited to see it back. Everything moves so smoothly and the game's scenery is flat out beautiful. Can't wait for the full game, could care less about a few glitchy mouth movements (which I haven't seen any of, not saying it doesn't exist, just that I really don't watch for that stuff).

Well I played Mass Effect Andromeda for about 2 hours last night and I think that the game is awesome!!! The so called "major issues" people bring up are pretty insignificant and pretty much unnoticeable so far unless you're specifically looking for stuff to gripe about.

I think all these nerds making videos are funny and all but people who are seriously butthurt about these things they're finding like they're completely ruining their experience they need to GET A LIFE!

I agree with you. To me, it seems that people are ruining games for themselves being angry and nit picky. I've yet to play a perfect game in life but I've played plenty of fun ones despite flaws.

I know right?? Maybe it's my age, I'm 47 and I had a ton of fun playing crappy Atari 2600 games. But when I played them they weren't crappy, they were awesome! I remember playing Realsports Football and the players were blobs who kind of phased in and out because the Atari struggled with its memory. But I had a blast playing it and other games like it because I focused on having fun and less about how "realistic" it was. I had to otherwise there was no point in playing because it didn't look realistic in the least, LOL

Trip Hawkins, who started EA nailed it. He said, in a quote I'll summarize: As we move closer and closer to photorealistic graphics, we are going to see people continue to be pickier and pickier about how they play because we are being trained to no longer suspend our sense of reality when we play and are, instead, expecting the game to paint us a reality. And if that reality is not pristine and causes people to notice they are playing a game it's going to make them upset..

I imagine most of these people who live to find things wrong with the games are younger people who have little to no imagination to "fill in the gaps" as to what the game does not do correctly. That and, as you said, they are not happy unless they can find a reason to be miserable, as odd as that sounds.

I convinced myself I was going Biotic this time, in every other installment I've been the gun-toting, Rambo class. This time I knew I had to give biotic the chance it deserved...but as I'm going into combat, my assault rifle is out and spraying.

Funny how for me it's the total opposite.
Down to just PS4 but haven't used it in quite a bit.

On top of this I can't help but feel that some people out there just want some games to fail.

Not trying to invalidate any criticisms, not at all what I'm saying, just seems like some posters on other sites have clear agendas and don't wanna give some games a fair chance with or without actually playing it

This is a very good read. I don't understand all "the sky is falling" previews that I've seen. I mean I get its 2017 so any little thing twitter will savage, but its not like Bioware doesn't have a track record that should get them the benefit of the doubt. I really enjoyed my time with the game.
