That trailer is something else! Sent chills down my back. I have been waiting so long for the Mass Effect. Can't wait!

What has Bioware done in the past 10 years that would cause you to have no faith? You don't have faith in Bioware, but have so much faith in a company (Nintendo) to deliver a console that's not an absolute trainwreck like their past attempts?

I think the lack of information thus far might cause a little doubt, but there is supposed to be a ton on info at the end of the month and Bioware has stated that this is the approach they want to take with ME:Andromeda

Doom didn't have much information and that turned out being one of my top 3 games of 2016. Whereas No Man's Sky had a ton of information and that game was a stinker.

Lack of information doesn't mean much to me anymore when it comes to games. I personally have faith in Bioware putting together a good story/action RPG. Its what they do.

From what I've seen, it's jA Mass Effect game. If you've played ME3, you know what you're getting. What more needs to be known?

Plus I think pre release info is far more important for a new IP. An established game can market any way they want in some ways. I'm not worried about that at all. I think there has been a lot of info so far and it's still over a month away.

I like hearing how they want to improve upon the fetch quests of DAI. Gives me hope for both series in the future. Quality over quantity.

From a quest design standpoint, it would be a big mistake if the Bioware team didn't look at The Witcher 3 and say, "Our side quests need to be more like that".

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

How about crappy games and obnoxious levels of pandering to their 'fans' ?

Romance has always been a key part of Mass Effect for fans, many of whom still champion some of the series' more unusal…

                    This gonna be cringeworthy af.

Guess I've got a taste for "crappy" games. Mass Effect and Dragon Age are probably my two favorite series currently going.

Ehh...the first ones from each series weren't terrible I guess, but it just went downhill from there.

3 was probably my least favorite of the trilogy, but was still a rather good game IMO. ME2 was one of my favorite games of all time.

For me 1 was the best. It was so ambitious and delivered on so much of that ambition. The freedom was much more palpable, where 2 especially felt more on rails and the combat felt less organic - it was like now you enter the combat zone. IN ME 1 you could drive the mako up to a mountain overlooking a base and snipe some bad guys before moving in and using singularity and so on. Little touches like debris would go flying and if the debris hit an enemy it would kill them. The change to ammo wasn't beneficial either and felt tacked on. They also had tougher choices I would agonize over. Kill REX? Destroy the arachnid alien race completely or take your chances in letting it go?

They said ME andromeda was moving more towards the 'series beginnings' which was encouraging because a better more realized ME1 would be insane.

All that said 2 had some very strong environments like the outpost and so on, and introduced strong characters as well.

I've tried to get into past Mass Effect games but they just haven't grabbed me. With that being said though I'm going to try this one (I've already preordered for the PS4) and hopefully this time I can really get into the game. There seems to be a certain amount of work you have to put into these titles to start seeing rewards and I just haven't gotten there.

I really like the idea of it and from what my friends say I'm really missing out so once more into the breach!
