With out getting into spoiler territory and depending on which planet you pick after Eos. From Voeld (Voeld was my 3rd planet) on this game is so much fun and the story starts to make sense and is really enjoyable. Just did Cora's loyalty mission. Not as involved or narrative as a ME:2 loyalty mission but still well done.

Work is getting in the way of my gameplay time. When I cut the game off last night, I had just finished the 1st vault and got PeeBee on the squad. Y'all are way ahead of me.

I don't think the stats in the skill menu change, which is a bummer. It makes upgrading skills a little confusing and difficult.

Forward Stations are able to get a R&D station on them. Not sure how I got it, but it would of been nice to have while I was exploring Voeld.

Sounds like this game isn't as bad as some people would have you believe it is. May pick it up for a change of pace from Zelda since I am waiting on playing HZD until I beat it.

Same here. I've played the original trilogy through probably 3 times and I can honestly say that Andromeda may be my favorite. The combination of exploration, MUCH improved combat, and the story leading you into the unknown has me so excited to keep playing. I'm loving the cast of characters so far. Are they on the level of the crew from the original trilogy? No, not yet. But for crying out loud, this is the first game in essentially a new series. Noone on the crew really stood out as overly interesting in ME1. ME2 is where the characters really started to stand out.

On top of that, I really dug into MP today and it's an absolute blast. Been mostly using the Human Vanguard III and going ballistic comboing charge into either my shotgun, a melee, or nova.

I still get surprised @ how aggressive the enemies are now compared to previous Mass Effect games

For a guy that's horrible at shooters, this was an adjustment on Hard difficulty

Ok IF I grab this tonight (PC)... Other than the site that showed (no spoilers) stuff he wished he knew before starting.. is there any other suggestions? Difficulty level etc..?

Scanning planets seems unless in Andromeda. You probably find something on 1 out of the 5 or 6?planets. Way more worth while in 2 and 3 if I remember right.

Suvi tells you if a planet is worth scanning. Way more time saved this way. Outside of Vandium (or whatever its called) by the time you leave the 3rd planet you should be well stocked on minerals.
