Being a sci-fi geek and my love for science docs, I personally loved the full fly overs in space. I don't skip after patch and I also read up on each planet I discover. I can certainly see why it was there but they definitely needed the option to skip for folks who

BTW, this game is a glitch fest and could have certainly used an additional few months to polish off the game. As it stands, it simply was never quality tested and rushed out the gate. Its still playable but if they would have ironed out the wrinkles, this game would be great. I also agree with the poster above about the lack of cohesiveness in the story and gameplay. Far to often I find myself spending about an hour aboard the Tempest and/or the Nexus talking to NPCs building up their character arc. Some are boring, others like the feud between Tann and the other character(forgot the name) are interesting.

Two nights in a row now I load this up wanting to shoot some goons. Two nights in a row now I've been on the nexus and tempest running around doing very critical pathfinder stuff like tracking down electrical errors or finding inventory for somebody's store.

Finally go to land on a new planet and, cut scene, another hour of conversations and story progression.

I'd play the mp for my shooting fix but it's such a mess of unbalanced glitchy grind fest it's not that much fun right now for me.

I must have been lucky so far because I haven't experienced anything near the amount of glitches you guys seem to have. I've had one or two and run into slow-down issues but I don't think it was bad.

As for the Tempest and Nexus stuff, I feel like that happened a lot in all the ME games. This feels like a ME through and through to me.

Those missions on the tempest are optional. You dont need to do them.

The problem is, how do you know they're optional and not critical to the path of the story. No one wants to miss out on a good ending. If I could comprehend the story better I would be able to option out of the stuff think is unnecessary.

Spoiler addresses what's needed for the good ending and what missions are important.

I'm trying to like the MP but the glitches are getting frustrating. Just played a game where I could not see my player or my gun sights. Cmon EA.

This is a summary of people's reviews on the game from over 1000 people surveyed and they had to sign in with Google to fill it out. Pretty interesting with some disappointments not being surprising. It's not that long and has good info to check out.

Do y'all still use the Apex app? It's been a Godsend since I learned the research exploit https://youtu.be/1UpBI04i2QY I have 4 teams at Level 20 and 2 more in the teens. I put a piece of gear on them that gives +40 effectiveness to a particular type of trait and it helps for winning gold missions.

I finally figured out what bothers me most about this game. It's [male] Ryder. He reminds me of me. To damn much. When he tries to talk "tough" it sounds scripted - and corny. When he tries to flirt - it just sounds awkward. When he tries to lead - it seems like he is asking permision rather than demanding loyalty. That would be me as a Pathfinder. I would make a terrible Pathfinder. The worst. I don't play videogames to be who I am. I play video games to be/act like the person I want to be.

It's painful sometimes. The exact opposite of Sheppard who was my dude. *sigh*
