Finally figured out the cover system with crouching and it does work effectively for not getting hit. My issue really was like you said, firing from cover. It really felt poorly done. The division has one of the better cover systems out there IMO and I, like you, are baffled why they didn't bring it to Wildlands.

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
So I've decided just to wait and buy this game in the fall for the XboxONE Elite. Im going to wait to see if they add some type of PvP, right now I cant justify paying $60 for an unfinished game with no PvP because I dont play coop, I like playing solo.
I have a serious backlog, (FF15, Mafia 3, Tomb Raider, The Witcher 3 just to name a few) and Im thinking about getting ME Andromeda, more than enough games to keep me busy until then.
I actually enjoyed the beta even playing solo, my cpu teammates never got in my way, in fact it felt like I was out their by myself for the most part. The game has a ton of potential, like The Division, Destiny, and so many other games rushed to release I expect Wildlands to get strong post release support.Last edited by Americas Team; 02-07-2017, 06:27 PM.Xbox Series X: KILLMUNGERComment

But I could have swore others playing the beta had issues with this.Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
Beta's by the very nature are supposed to be unfinished buggy messes. Hence the Beta.
But I also think Developers are to blame as much as the consumers. This modern era of day one patch for all games, has led a lot of companies to the choice that "hey if its not quite right lets release it anyway and that gives us two weeks to get a patch together before it hits shelves and our consumer realizes that there is a problem."
Truly, I just got excited for this game in the last few days, watching streams of people playing the Beta. When I saw a solo player line up and set his team and take out four targets all at once, man I got excited. To me this brings back the Ghost Recons and Rainbow Six games of old. They were so deep and strategy oriented games. The joy of setting up your team, breaching doors and flash bangs going off, the quiet phht phht of suppressed MP5's and then "Clear". Man that stuff made my day and I have not really felt that in any of the military games since then.
Is this game going to be perfect, probably not. Very few if any games in this day and age are. Do I think it is going to be a helluva lot of fun. Yes sir, I do.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands
On the last mission, I was downstairs in the last room, crouching under the windows listening to the couple talk. My AI teammates were still outside the building nowhere to be seen.
As the conversion was coming to an end I, in one of my shining moments, hit the wrong button and frag grenade myself. As I'm bleeding out I see my teammates icons frantically start moving on the minimap as they rush to revive me. I get up ready to meet a rain of gunfire. It's quiet. Everyone is dead. My useless AI buddies suddenly became Rambo tactical geniuses, rushing to my location, clearing the room and reviving me. Mission complete. On Ghost.

Don't feel bad. I have a backlog too. Hell, we all do. LOL. Love hearing that when playing solo, the CPU AI team mates never got in your way. That's very good.
Agree with you in regards to Wildlands as im expecting the same.
As long as the AI idiots stay back and out of my way, I'll be happy.Comment

My apologies. I truly though your post was someone else's. I swore it was and that was wrong of me. Caught me at a bad time and I posted what I did and shouldn't have.
It's my mistake and i own it. I'm sorry
