The beta has saved me 60 dollars. I really feel like this looks and plays like a late gen PS3 game. I am just really underwhelmed. I have played solo so far, so maybe that is my issue?
Not saying I am right, and I am not saying anyone else is wrong, just saying very simply that in my unimportant personal opinion, this game just doesn't cut it for me. It is way more "arcadey" than I expected. Maybe that is my fault.
From a technical standpoint I find it below average, at least on my Pro, and from a gameplay standpoint I find it average. Again, could be my fault for playing solo.
I think I may have overhyped it in my head after seeing the initial E3 trailers.Comment

After having played both the closed and open betas: I still don't know.
It all just seems so repetitive. This is a more realistic Just Cause and a shabby MGS 5 in coop. I think PVP would work in this game.
You actually spend more time going from one point to the other than actually doing the mission(s).
Imagine if 4 teams had to defend a HVT and the others would have to capture him/her. Sort of like a 3rd person, open world R6.
Other than that, I'll wait for you guys to post impressions before buying.Comment

Played this for a few hours over the weekend and had a blast. It has flaws but overall was lots of fun, and I played solo. Love the gun smith. Had one instance where we were taking down 4 guys from a couple hundred yards out, took them out successfully but there was a 5th guy I didn't see who got into a truck to escape and I sniped him through the back window of the truck. I really enjoyed this game. My friend and I plaed for a few hours and had a good time doing so. This game has a lot of potental and if they add a PVP then this will have me playing for a long time. Sure there are some things that could be better but for what it is, its a day 1 buy for me.Comment

I'm not going to tell you how to spend your money but all the deluxe edition stuff is just in game DLC like XP boosts, 1 gun, and some skins. Probably take about 1 or 2 hours in game to earn what you get in the deluxe edition.
The gold edition for $100 also seems pretty steep considering you're basically charged $40 for the season pass. It's just too much of a gamble to see how dedicated Ubi is to making good DLC.My dog's butt smells like cookiesComment
