Neat thing about that assault though, there was a thunder storm going on with the winds blowing the tall grass back and forth, lightening bolts in the sky off in the distance.
Just had that experience driving to stop a convoy to tag at night in a thunder storm with lightning in the background.

The draw distance on a 4K TV in certain lighting situations looks amazing and so far away. lol

That's one thing they got down well. Looks amazing for a console. (PS4 Pro)

There's no pvp of any kind yet. It's to be implemented later through an update.

Have you read any of the thread?

My internet went down when I was in co-op tonight, so I ran solo for a couple of hours. To my surprise, I had an awesome time playing with the A.I. It's nice to know that I can still tackle this game and have fun even if no one is around. Very good stuff.

I also want to give the team props on the mobile app. I love all the info and character bios that are provided in it. They did a great job of creating this narcos world. It's very fleshed out and believable.

When I'm playing the game it's cool feeling like everything I do is chipping away at their organizational structure. Looking forward to moving past the stuff I played in the beta. Ghost Recon should keep me entertained for quite a while.

It's a good game, still terrible solo IMO.

I'd give it a 7/10. I'm shocked at the amount of bugs that were in the betas and still in retail.

The world is huge, which is a plus but it almost feels overwhelmingly so. The cars still handle terribly, the guns are hit or miss, and he AI is mind numbingly stupid at times. Other times they are all nuclear physicists. Don't even get me started on the car radios....

I'll definitely have fun with it as time goes on and they patch things.

Went to my buddies to play this, but man this game is rough. The writing in this game is horrific. Took us both a while to figure out how to take cover. Surprisingly, the shooting mechanics feel off as well. Hard pass for me. I'll stick to The Division and Siege for my Clancy shooter fix. One positive is that the game is beautiful as far as the environments go.

                    Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands

I had a blast playing last night. All solo with the AI.

Ran one mission that just happened to time up at night. Was just looking for some intel in a village filled with enemies. Did some drone recon, spotted several of them asleep. So I quietly, and slowly crept through the village taking them out one by one in their sleep until I had eliminated all of them. Grabbed the intel, grabbed the chopper that was hanging around and out of there. Fun stuff.

Ran a supply side mission afterwards.. As we approached the camp, after doing some recon I thought hey... look at that... there's 8 guys. 5 are next to the fuel tank. Aim at the tank... fire. The tank explodes taking out the 5 guys, but it also engulfs the chopper I'm supposed to steal in flames and blows it up too. Mission failed. I never expected that. It doesn't usually happen that way in games. Thought that was a nice touch.

I got into a random battle with some Unidad guys that were just hanging around. I accidentally threw a grenade as I was creeping up on them. Big mistake. Essentially took myself out and took a few shots from them too. Teammate revives me and I just start wildly firing hoping I don't die again. We survive the fight. My accuracy stats took a big hit though. That's unfortunate. lol I'm going to spend tonight now trying to get that back up.

I also like how you have 3 or 4 game saves too. So what I think I might do when one of my friends picks this up is keep one gamesave for me playing solo. Have one for when I do random online co-op. Have another for whenever he picks the game up so we can play through it. I'm sure that's only just a good idea in theory though. That's a lot of replaying the same missions.

I had fun last night with it, Solo its mehhhhhhhh, but coop even with only 1 other person it really shines. Its more unpredictable with 2 humans which makes for intense fights.

Cars, planes, hell any vehicle handles absolutely the worst ive experienced in a long long time. The only thing that feels half way good is the parachuting.

All in all the gameplay is fun as hell and tonight we will be going back to Bolivia as we pay homage to Chris Kyle.

Saw three friends squaded up on XB1, last night. Had me tempted to buy this, but I'll wait until PvP is added and see how it looks, then.

Really feels like the best way to fly a chopper is to hold power and forward until you start to dive, then weave back and forth. You can really get moving.

I'm usually a first day purchase guy but division and nba 2k17 thought me that it is not always the best idea to spend 60$ to play beta for couple months, so I didn't buy this yet.

I will reconsider in a few weeks.
