Never really notice this because it's kinda worthless, but if you holster your weapon then press R1 (PS4) it zooms out to a wide 3rd person view for some reason. The only bad thing the draw distance of what you see gets worse in that view. To be expected.

      Re: Ghost Recon Wildlands

After just starting to play this weekend, last night I moved up to third difficulty level and turned off the minimap. Died quickly in a few firefights, but damn, I haven't had this much fun in so long.

It's the tactical shooter I've always wanted on a console.

For the Solo game, how's the story?
NFL - Dallas Cowboys, MLB - NY Yankees
NBA - Knicks, NHL - NY Rangers,
NCAABB - St. Johns Redmen (Redstorm)

Do you see more enemies if you up the difficulty? Will they become smarter or will you just die easier? I just did a mission with my buddy where we had to defend a hospital, and we got like 2 trucks worth of enemies. Both we just blew up with C4 when they drove in.

What is the key to flying the smaller helicopters? I swear some of them won't move unless you tilt the nose all the way down, but then other helicopters are really easy to get going.

It's hard to explain, but once the nose dips the second time (and you lose altitude) from holding accelerate + forward, you can just hold accelerate and you'll continue at just about the fastest forward speed that you can maintain in a chopper.

IMO you can go a little faster by weaving back and forth, but hard to say.

I don't think the choppers control all that differently, the big ones just are a bit more sluggish.

Has anyone heard of any patch details or when a patch is dropping?

Also for people who have the infinite 5% xp boost, if you don't see the purple icon on the launch menu then restart till it pops up. It's a glitch and sometimes it won't show up when you start a game.

Is that the icon with the infinity symbol?

Ya. It's the only icon that's purple right next to your name. The minute your start your game and it shows your name and other people it recommends, there should be the purple icon right there. If it's not then just restart till it shows, otherwise you won't get the 5% XP boost when playing.

This game could have easily included a spike strip to throw down to disable or slow down convoys or cartel members trying to run away. Setting some up by an entrance would have been cool.

Are there any negatives to playing this game offline? For example, I bought Hitman: The Complete First Season a while back and if you play it offline, you can't unlock stuff like different weapons and such. Is it like this on Ghost Recon or is everything available offline? If I can play it and am able unlock everything offline I'll probably go pick this up because it looks like a lot of fun.

Yes. The game plays fine solo. I'm playing the whole game solo on the hardest difficulty and I'm having a blast.

I cleared a 4 star territory province. Wasn't hard at all even on the hardest difficulty. Cut the power out and it's a wrap for those bases.

Does cutting the power eliminate them from calling reinforcements?
