I'd wait to bump up the difficulty till you're in an area with more than just Watchers and Striders. There's things you can't one hit stealth kill.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
This is what I was wondering. I just completed the demon with ease playing on hard. Wish I had started on very hard from the get go for trophy reasons.
I'll give it some more time before deciding to bump it to very hard. The only time I've died so far was from gravity. I was curious how high I can drop before I would die.

Oh really? I didn't take a look at the trophies, I just assumed there was a difficulty trophy like most games. That's great news

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Yeah, the enemies get tougher when you start coming across the different robots.
SpoilerESPECIALLY the Thunderjaw. I don't see an easy way to take that one down. Aloy even mentions it when you first see and pass it by.
I'm level 20 an just made it to Meridian. I'm loving the game so far, and the different areas have different weather effects. I just came across a sandstorm in one of the areas near the city.HELLO BROOKYLN.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
I don't want to derail this thread, but after playing this game, doesn't it feel like if they made a Jurassic Park survival horror open world game in 2017 it can actually work and be successful. If you think about it, this game is pretty much Jurassic Park but with metal dinosaurs.
Imagine if they had a open world of a Jurassic park island, or if it was a abandoned theme park that had them wondering everywhere and you have to sneak around and kill them and level up and stock up with skills and different types of ammo. They could even have finding surivior missions and safe houses. Imagine running from a T-Rex.

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Definitely go ahead and spend 3 to double you medicine herb limit. You have to buy the first level, and then the second one after that will double it. I had a hard time deciding what to get after that. I liked the skill to jump off things and attack.

That's what I got also. More health is always a plus in these type of games.Comment

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
My skill priorities were Concentration & critical hit in the middle Brave tree, then Silent Strike and had to get Silent Drop so I could get Low Profile from the Prowler section. Then I started working towards Tinker in the Forager tree. Sprinkled in a Lure Call somewhere which is so OP combined with silent strike for dealing with herds if little machines.
Now I'm working down the Brave tree to add to concentration time and to get double and tripple shot.
Also, it can be overlooked, pay attention to the bottom half of the skill trees. They're not all linear. Example to get Tinker you have to start with Gatherer, not Healer.Oakland Athletics San Jose Sharks

Re: Horizon: Zero Dawn
Sometimes I worry that stealth kills are too effective. I typically always play stealth style in games that allow it and I love that method of gameplay but I feel like I can clear out whole areas a little too easily, even on very hard. I can't decide if I need to just keep playing and see what else opens up before I decide to limit my stealth kills in some wayLast edited by Bigg Cee; 03-03-2017, 09:39 PM.Comment
