I just got to those jerk faces base in the SW where there is the ruin of a base or whatever underneath. I think I need to stop and go do some other missions first because all I've been doing are the main missions because I am sooo wrapped up in this storyline of what happened to the old world.

I'm not even talking about side missions. I'm confused. I'm looking at IGN's walkthrough and there are seemingly main quests I never did prior to where I'm at now.

I think I messed up along the way as well. I've finished the main story and I was only at around level 30. I'm going back and doing side missions now but I think I should have done them before finishing the main quests. There is still a lot of stuff left to do. Great game though.

I have almost 60 hours in this game. Currently at level 36 and around 60 percent completion. So much to do looking for collectibles, clearing bandit camps, clearing corrupted zones and side quest just as compelling as the main story. Love this game. I would love to see these developers use this engine to make a Western game. I think it would rock!

So...we arrived back at Merdian.

We are going to go for 100% completion. I am having too much fun to allow this game to end right now.

So we will go for all the collectibles, Hunting Grounds and I have 1 side mission left (other than hunting ground stuff).

The land is so vast....it will be fun traveling around at a level 49 with my bad *** self as I search out metal flowers and figures LOL. I also have 1 of the 3 required batteries for that side mission (you know which one for those that completed it and obtained the outfit for completing it). I have to find those other two.....I just must.

Then we will do the last main mission (if it is the last one).

I must have missed picking up those other 2 power cells on previous side missions.

Crap.....I will have to figure out which ones I missed and back track to those locations.

Wiki is my friend for that. I need 2 more.

I just beat the main story. It took me 12 tries at level 28 (I think) to beat the last boss. All I had was regular/fire arrows, only a few precision arrows, a few "tear" arrows, and some sticky bombs.

I didn't think I could do it but I finally did with FIVE SECONDS LEFT [emoji23]

I just beat 'The Heart of the Nora'. According to IGN, the recommended level for the next mission (3rd from final), 'The Mountain that Fell', is 32. I'm at level 25 lol. I think it's time to do some side missions.

Even on easy, I barely got through the last mission. Took way too much to take enemies out. I'm assuming that's because of my level because I'm doing what I can with my weapons and resources.

I found that cave where the armor is hiding, but I only had one power cell. No clue how I missed the others.

I think one of the power cells is IN "The Mountain that Fell" mission.

If yall really wanna have fun with the game, play on hard with every hud option off that can be turned off and those that can be set to dynamic. Having the reticle off really changes the game and you have to be really precise at long distance.

Don't forget to upgrade your weapons if you have them available. I played through quite a bit of the game before I realized I could upgrade my bow, made a big difference.

I beat the main story and several side missions including getting the ancient armor. I'm only at level 32.

How the heck do you learn how to hack new machines?

Anyone want to PM about the story? I have so many thoughts and questions and wasn't sure if I should overuse the spoiler tag..

I think I'm done playing until the DLC comes out. I'm at level 35. The side missions aren't keeping me as engaged as the main story did, but I did a few over the weekend.

I also managed to get the ancient armor and I got the golden fast past. Then I got all 4 shadow bows, but my mods for my bows suck tho.

Here are my SPOILER questions about the story..

Who sent the signal that messed up the systems? That's a mystery right? In the hologram it looked like it came from space. Maybe that ship they thought was destroyed wasn't and now all these years later their descendants are up to no good? Crazy.

In the holograms, it was like there were 4 kids raised by the machines and then kicked out bc they were out of food? Why? Obviously it wasn't supposed to happen that way? Was it all bc of Apollo being destroyed? Perhaps those kids were supposed to learn about making food and such thus enabling them to stay in there longer? It just seemed weird like obviously their lives were not going as planned. Were they the only 4 humans created? Are all the tribes descendants of those 4 people?

They just added New Game + and 2 new trophies and 1 new difficulty level. Sorry

They have also added new armors called "adept" that have 4 mod slots
