Nice trailers. I remember when City Interactive used to create budget games using the same engine from FEAR or another game, and just created mindless shooters - one after another, pretty much the same game over and over again. I think they really made a name for themselves with their Sniper series. Good for them.

Was hoping that I could have received it today or tomorrow since some people on neogaf get games early from Best Buy when shipped so I was hoping for the same. As long as I get it by Tuesday, I can't really complain.

Was hoping that I could have received it today or tomorrow since some people on neogaf get games early from Best Buy when shipped so I was hoping for the same. As long as I get it by Tuesday, I can't really complain.

Will be curious to hear yours and CAMP's impressions. I bought 1 & 2 and eventually came away disappointed and didn't finish either one. I will be waiting on positive feedback before I put my money down again.

I never played 1 or 2. Reason I pre-ordered SGW3 is because it reminds me of Far Cry and I love Far Cry. I'm expecting it to be a poor man's Far Cry game which is fine for me since that's what im looking for.

I disagree with Phobia saying it's a combination of Far Cry open world with COD gameplay. Watching videos, I get a Sniper Elite 4 gameplay vibe but in a Far Cry open world. I also look at SGW3 as this year's Homefront: The Revolution meaning a poor man's Far Cry. I'm just hoping that it's far more optimized and polished than Homefront was. If SGW3 hits at least my 7/10 mark, I'll be happy.

I will be on a little later. My daughter has been in Children's hospital for the last 8 days so things have been a little crazy. Wife and I have been rotating shifts so I'm a little worn out. Going on about 3 hours of sleep.

I was able to install and play for about 15 minutes but nothing but basically a training tutorial. Gonna try and stream tonight if time permits.

I will be on a little later. My daughter has been in Children's hospital for the last 8 days so things have been a little crazy. Wife and I have been rotating shifts so I'm a little worn out. Going on about 3 hours of sleep.

Sorry if posting this video is insensitive as it's not meant to be and I just watched it a few minutes ago and thought that it gives a good rundown of what SGW3 is and what the player will be doing throughout.

Dude...im sorry to hear about your daughter and hope she feels better and gets home soon. Don't worry about the damn game as it's not important whatsoever.

It's cool, I appreciate the kind words. For a minute things were up in the air but now that a diagnosis has been made it's just a matter of finding the best treatment going forward. She's going to be in the hospital for a while. Hell she told the wife and I for us not to come down so much because she needed a break lol.

Just talked to my wife and she told me not to come down so I'll possibly be on streaming a bit shortly. I didn't care for SE4 after a few hours in. Hoping this is what I'm looking for in a Sniper/Stealth environment.

I played SE4 at launch but quit two missions in. Good gameplay but just didn't pull me in at all. Just watched a walkthrough of the prologue mission from the retail PS4 version of the game and it looks better than the PC beta and appears to be better optimized and more polished. I'm definitely hoping because it's my type of game.

She was diagnosed with "Dilated Cardiomyopathy" Drs are trying different medicines to try to get it under control with no success yet. My greatest fear is having to get a heart transplant. The discussion has come up just as a FYI but praying it doesn't come to that.

Currently her heart is functioning at about 20% and she had fluid on her heart so they couldn't do a MRI until the fluid was removed/drained. The MRI was this past Tuesday and that's when the diagnosis was made. She's at the Children's hospital here in Cincinnati which is one of the best in the world so we feel pretty good about that. I might add she is 19 so I can see why she doesn't want us there 24 hours a day. She has had friends come stay overnight with her as well as my oldest daughter. Don't want to derail the thread but that's pretty much what's going on.

Currently playing the intro now.

Currently watching part two of the same user's walkthrough and my goodness, im having Homefront flashbacks. The constant pausing/freezing while driving and audio distortion/static is just bad. Really hoping that there's a day one patch that better optimizes the game. Part two is basically a safe house tutorial and im disappointed because looking at the weapon cache, workbench, map, etc., this game is truly a Far Cry type clone but without the animal hunting (as far as I know, lol). This is why I always try my best to stay in the middle in regards to hyping myself up for any game in general.

Just looked that up to see exactly what it is. I'm truly sorry for what you, your wife and family are going through and truly hope your daughter pulls through and doesn't ever need a heart transplant and can live a long health life.

If it wasn't for your wife telling you to stay home, I would be telling you to quit the freaking game and go be with your wife and daughter.

As for the game, im definitely interested in reading your impressions but watching the first 30 minutes of the game and currently watching the safe house tutorial, im going to be honest, it doesn't look like this game is going to be any better than what Homefront was a year ago.

With that said, I do hope that at the very least, the game can take your mind off of everything else that's going on. Sorry Camp.
