NBA Live 16 was close to making that list but their last patch pulled it out of the fire.
Why Witcher 3? One of my favorites just curious as too why you disliked it?

        For me it was:

        The Order 1886
        Battlefield Hardline

Only played Black Ops 3, Madden, and 2K as far as 2015 goes, but all three have been fun. Like Jeremy said earlier, AI roster management on Madden is no bueno. 2K is AMAZING. Best sports game I've played in a while, maybe ever.

PGA tour for me. And madden to extent, it has a fun factor. But outside of a few presentation changes, it's basically 15 with a roster update.

The Order is the easy answer and while I don't usually get into pre-release hype and thus disappointed when things are delayed, the delay of The Division being delayed ranked up there with one of my bigger disappointments of 2015.

I'll pile on the Battlefront wagon. I haven't played the game or the beta when it was available and from gameplay videos it definitely looks like it has the atmosphere nailed down, but the lack of single player campaign killed my interest quickly.

You're definitely not crazy as any game could be hit or miss. But I hear changing the character's movement in Witcher 3 to "Alternate" instead of "Standard" makes it a lot better.

I got halfway through Hardline for free (EA Access) and it was a cool experience in theory, but the levels weren't designed very well to allow you to be stealthy or not shoot everyone.

I'd agree though....they need to do some major retooling if they come out with another one.

My three exactly. Finished Batman and GoT, but only got a third through MGS. I have completed every MGS since the PS One days - this was NOT an MGS game. I would have much rather sacrificed the "open world" for a linear experience with better boss fights, less management, and a better story.

Hell, Fallout 4 as well. Played it a ton for 2 weeks or so and haven't touched it since. Really have no desire to. Can't put my finger on it, but it didn't grab me like F3.

Could throw NBA 2K16 in there as well, but I won't because I blame myself for expecting much different. I have always had a love/hate relationship with NBA 2K and this year ended up being no different. Same ol complicated control scheme, further complicated with too much automation. And the issue where the CPU grazes my player and they lose the ball drove me bonkers. I had to let the game go...

It's a shame when you think about it because at least 3 out of 4 of those were considered to be A+ releases. Hopefully 2016 doesn't disappoint as much.

For me the one game that was a true disappointment was Project Cars. I just do not have the time to muck around with the controls to get it to play that way I like it to.

2 other games that I did not enjoy were Madden 16 and NBA 2k16. I guess im just burnt out on them and can't see myself getting them next year.

Other than that, there weren't any other games that I can think of that I regretted playing/purchasing in 2015.

NHL 16, although I really shouldn't be surprised by this. Hadn't played this series in a few years and I'd hoped EA had made some changes, but it turns out the next gen offering has even less than when I last played on PS3. Combine that with all games feeling the same, it simply becomes nowhere near close to fun anymore.

Hated the batmobile so much in Arkham Knight and just didn't feel like it did anything new and was more of them same which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I think I was just fed up with the formula.
