Sniper Elite 4 (XB1/PS4/PC)
Have always enjoyed this series. MP is always pretty fun too. Really anything that still does WWII era games I'll love.

re: Sniper Elite 4 (XB1/PS4/PC)
That's always been my frustration with the exception of #1 which had longer opportunities. Lets say your average kill distance in SE3 was 80m - in my mind, what's the point? that's not very sniper-esque. I would like to regularly be squeezing the trigger in the 400-600m range in other words I should be in sniper range and outside of the enemies regular range and have practical applications for the main weapon in the game!
having said that it's still 'fun' and satisfying to get those xray kill shots!Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment

They are all good imo, but if you're a complete sniper nerd like me you will invariably be disappointed by the fact that none of your kills will be longer than 200m.

I'm just a sucker for sniping, so this series will always interest me. I should re-install 3 and have some fun again, never fully beat it.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

re: Sniper Elite 4 (XB1/PS4/PC)
World War 2 era snipers did not use silencers, as most rifles were not designed as sniper rifles. Most were battle or hunting weapons. Silencers do not work very well/if at all on supersonic ammunition.
Even in the modern era most "regular" snipers do not use silencers. Most shots take place outside of a range were a suppressor would not matter anyway. The only time a "silencer" is used is in closer range, high value target situations and these usually do not actually involve sniper rifles. The only consideration that a sniper may use, depending on range, is a flash or muzzle suppressor. This is also usually only in non urban environments as a sniper in an urban setting usually will set up a shot from an interior of a building and the sound of the shot will echo so much as to make detection by sound not a valid concern in most cases. In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

re: Sniper Elite 4 (XB1/PS4/PC)
Thanks for that.
However they need to move the game away from the ww2 era.
That setting is kinda played out, and its going to fade fast when it does because people will feel its the same game same skin.
The locations are great though.Comment

Sequels looked kinda popamole though and I never bothered with them.Last edited by bakan723; 08-21-2016, 05:05 PM.Comment

On SE3 they had some situations set up where you could hit long shots on objectives, but otherwise it was a little whack-a-mole. At least 3 was more free in what you could do vs 2Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
