You don't just snipe, you can sneak around and choose to kill people up close, you can pretty much complete a mission any way you want by doing anything one could do in a Grand Theft Auto type open world game.

Sounds a lot more interesting than just sniping when you can approach missions in any manner you see fit, sniping is now just one way to approach things

If you mean there is some stealth action in the game, it was in 3 as well.

I would like for them to make it even more stealthy. Not enough devs taking advantage of that kind of gameplay.

3 was better with it, but i agree...it was a bit too limited in your real options...

More long sniper options and more stealth would make this amazing.

Well I've read a couple of articles that this game is basically like GTA now in regards to how you can play it, which is what made me interested since it is more than just sniping now..

I don't see the GTA comparisons. When I think of GTA I think shootouts with nearly unlimited ammo and arsenal.

SE has always been stealth based with the option to go loud at tactical times. I'd be very surprised if you could complete whole levels by running and gunning the whole way. There's plenty if games like that out there. SE needs to stay in its stealth niche.

Ok, maybe not the best analogy but I meant in more in a sense of an open world with multiple ways to approach missions and more than sniping to do in regards to how you approach the mission.

I've dropped out of the Ubi camp regarding their 2 upcoming releases and seriously thinking about this game as its replacement. Scores are looking decent across the board too.

This game has always been one of my favs. Just preordered today after watching the MP stream. Have always loved the Sniper MP of this game. I hate playing as a sniper in other games, BF/CoD, but this game is awesome.

Must admit that im surprised the game is at a 79 metacritic. My prediction was 65 and I was way off. Main reason im surprised is that with each entry, the franchise has declined. The original was at 77 (xbox), V2 was at 70 (ps3), III was at 67 (ps4) so not only has SE4 ended the decline but it's currently the highest rated game in the franchise's 12 year history.

Looks like im picking up two games tomorrow at Best Buy instead of one. The other being For Honor. Both games should definitely keep me busy until the 28th.

I read somewhere Rebellion expanded the size and scale of the game's maps to make "real long shots" possible and the animation and AI were improved. Now Im reading that you will receive assistance from the Italian resistance against the Nazi's?! That's it, I'm in.
