I rarely pilot my Titan. I leave it in auto-titan 80 percent of the time. I prefer playing in Titan modes because it has that kind of Conquest feel in the sense of "big things happening" but as far as my actual combat preference I prefer playing as pilot

I actually made a habit out of it in TF and it has carried over for me in TF2. People just focus on the Titans so I throw it down and can easily flank people and pick off from the corners. Also some titans in auto-titan can DO WORK for you

I had no idea you could have your Titan go in auto. I'll have to check that out. I like using mine, but that could be interesting to mix things up.

I think its the first ability you start with for each titan in the loadout for it that boosts the auto-titan capabilities. Gives the CPU AI full access to the titan attacks or something like that

Scorch does well in auto because of the AOE attacks. Legion not so much

I ran scorch in auto and it did serious work for me. I still like pilot v pilot a ton. Something about it, but I can go between it and attrition now. I do agree the titans really add to the chaos.

While in auto you can put it in either guard mode or follow mode

Just finished the single player campaign in Titanfall 2 on hard difficulty in 11 hours over one day. A very good game. Visually, looks great on the PRO and the gameplay/gunplay is excellent. Solid story and characters too. Some really awesome effects, plat-forming, etc. as well. Music, sound effects and voice acting were all good. Only one technical problem throughout the entire game. The audio went out for maybe 10 seconds or so twice in the later chapters but otherwise, no problems. I never played the original Titanfall but Titanfall 2 is what the franchise should have started as. Shame that sales are low because it really is a very good game. Horrible decision by EA to release it between Battlefield 1 and COD as they buried their own game.

No vids, but a few basic tips from a 51-year-old Titanfall 2 fanatic who is fighting slowing reflexes:

1. Keep moving. Don't stand still for long unless you have a ceiling or roof over your head. Run, bounce, parkour (wall walk), use the grappling hook. Keep. Moving.

2. Look up. Many pilots and all titans that will kill you are above you. Only the dumbest or best snipers don't take high ground.

3. Find a gun that works best for you. Comfort and feel are big in this game. The class or gun loadout that works for one dude may not work for you. Experiment until you find the magic combination.

4. Potshot with your pilot or titan against enemy titans. Standing toe to toe in an Alexander Hamilton-Aaron Burr duel against another titan usually doesn't end well. Your titan either gets blown up or suffers heavy damage unless you're a really deft fighter. Try to potshot enemy titans engaged full frontal with other titans. Sneak up from the side or double-team from the front. You might get the lucky shot that kills the titan or at least get a few points from a Titan Assist.

5. Try to get into your Titan near the end of the game, win or lose. As a titan, you have a much better shot of getting to the Dropship alive as a game loser or killing remaining rivals and blowing up the dropship as a game winner.

Yes, you can, just take your receipt in and a screenshot or ad from one of the two places that have it for $29.99 and they will do it. But hurry because no idea how long that price will be for.
