Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
Was trying not to buy this, but I played for a bit this morning through the EA Access trial version... It looks incredible, and I love WW1/WW2 type shooters based on historic events, so... I may be in trouble here.
BF4 was the first battlefield game I ever played, and I lost interest in it probably halfway through. Partly because I didn't care for the story, and I simply got stuck at a point I couldn't get past in the campaign. That's holding me back a bit from buying it.
I'll see how the trial goes, and we'll go from there, but looks like this is pretty awesome from my initial quick impression this morning.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
The main thing that's consistent with BF is just about everyone realizes it's about playing the objective and not worrying about your KD. That's why the guys atop the scoreboard normally have negative KDs. It's honestly a breath of fresh air.Comment

R1/RB should automatically toss a small med kit at a wounded target that you were looking at. It does not work for the large med kits.
They actually throw them pretty far too. Even if they're moving it'll be on target so I spam r1 a lot as its easy to get heals that way (you should still be using r1 a lot anyways, get dem spots).

Loved previous Battlefields, but did not enjoy Hardline much at all. Battlefront was a game I had zero interest in, but BF1, now this is a damn good game.
The pic is real - What I am missing with your post?

I still haven't bought this but love all these previous Battlefield games. My K/D was almost always pretty awful but I was always near the top of the scoreboard.Comment

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
My personal favorite thing about the game is all of the different playstyles. I usually play medic or anti-vehicle and I'm used as a mobile spawn point. I stay conservative and out of the heat of the battle, working the edges, picking off people, and capturing objectives when it's cleared. This leads to matches like 12-3, but with 10,000+ pts.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

War Pigeons is a sweet game. Really fun but very frustrating when you have to get one more pigeon out and the other team keeps killing them.I've heard this "patience is a virtue" junk all my life. I'm happy to say I have no virtue, no scruples, and no desire to wait too long for anything. In my humble opinion instant gratification takes too long!

So all the "pay $20 and play 3 days early" edition gets you are skins? I didn't care for the beta but the single player looks incredible. Tempted to get it Friday.
