How are all you playing? I downloaded the beta and stared at "matchmaking failed" screen for about 40 minutes until i gave up.

anyone having issues connecting as soon as you launch the game - what works for me is going into the options menu for a little bit and backing out and hitting square to go online afterwards and it joins me up - if I don't do that it won't connect.

I tried to get on a horse and kill someone but just couldn't get the hang of it in time before a tank promptly turned me and the horse to dust.

Big time server problems because of some cowardly outfit attacking the servers. Hang in there. Once I got in last night I was able to play for a few hours straight.

Battlefield must be the one game I have luck in. With 3 or 4 and now this beta I've practically had zero issues with anything out of my control. I got on yesterday and never had any issues joining a server or staying connected. I played for a couple of hours between two different sessions and both times I was in a match within 2 minutes of starting the game up.

This is on PC.

The Beta does seem smoother than the alpha . I actually enjoyed it more . I don't like the guns man lol. The horse is fun tho

I really had a blast last night and am really looking forward to playing again later. While the map may not be my favorite in terms of size, at least it didn't feel exactly like "insert map name from previous BF's " like we've seen in the past.

I thought the gunplay was great. I very much like the older style guns. The gun list looks pretty impressive from class to class, hopefully we see a decent variance between them.

I still get that "Battlefield" feel. Those wow moments. When you're fighting inside a building and you run outside only to see a plane crash and explode right in front of you. Very few shooters give those types of moments.

The game looks great. The sun glare off the iron sights are a nice touch. Explosions are very well done.

The overall pace definitely feels faster to me and if I had to pick one, that'd be my biggest gripe. Not a deal breaker by any means. The bayonet charge needs to be fixed and I suspect it will. Running and stabbing people from a mile away while taking tons of bullets is kind of bogus.

I feel like this game will last if only because I'm not sure why it wouldn't. We're going to get maps we're going to get DLC's and updates. Battlefront suffered its fate because of lack of content. If BF1 is anything like BF4 in terms of content, I feel like we'll be alright. Hardline was a different story; not only did they change up the style of game (cops and robbers vs military/war shooter), BF4 was really hitting its stride during that time and was becoming the great game that it is. I enjoyed Hardline but its easy to see why the masses stuck with 4.

All of that said the game is not without its issues, and of course won't be perfect, I'm not trying to say that. So far my expectations have been met and I feel like this will be a really good game.

Just hoping there are servers for Xbox one when I come home. I have yet to be able to play this.

this game is fun.

I spent about 2 hours or so with it last night and my only issue as far as server problems go was when I first entered a match I had no weapons. That was pretty funny as I thought maybe I had to go pick one up or something so I ran around for awhile looking for weapons to pick up before I finally died a couple of times like that and left and started a new match.

once I started a new match I never had any lag or server problems. Everything ran smooth on ps4

I usually suck at battlefield and COD games but maybe R6S has gotten me a little better at shooters. I actually was getting as many kills as deaths last night. I still suck but I'm not like the worst in the match like usual with 0 - 2 kills. LOL

any ways, I might be different than some.. but I really like the weapons and gun play and that there is no scopes and stuff now. it changes the tactics now in a way that better suits my play style

ohhh and yeah the graphics and sound is amazing in this game!

900p on PS4 and 720p on Xbox. Both struggle to hit 60FPS.

Agreed. The bunkers and ditches strewn about the map help provide cover in those wide open spaces. Doesn't do much good when a tank has a bead on you and melts your face the moment you pop out, though.

I usually always am a Medic in any BF, but it's definitely different in this one. No on screen indicator. It's just on the map from what I can tell. And it seems bugged at times because I can't revive guys at times when I'm there within a second of them dying.

I keep trying to be a good medic, but there's a few on screen things that could be added.

I'm enjoying it alot and especially once we had a few of us playing together. I know it's a beta but the hit detection is awful. On both consoles it's a nightmare, still ever so slightly better on the X1.

Really hoping this what they focus on up until release. I can take not being able to vault over something or my bandage pouch going through the ground. But when I'm putting my bullets on a guy and it's not registering, I get a littleeee bit upset
