Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
You can really just DOMINATE in tanks with the self-repair. Its something I think they need to look at because its definitely OP.
That said, I like how infantry, while needing a collaborative effort, can actually stand a chance against tanks. What with the antitank grenades, mines and dynamite.

That said...sniping from a tank needs to be toned down. Just saying.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

I might be lucky, but it seems that on the PC tanks are getting taken out at a decent rate. And the guys going 21-0 in a tank are sitting back and not really helping their teams capture and defend the crucial flags.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Threw an incendiary grenade at some dude charging at me on a horse, both him and the horse go up in flames galloping off through the desert. Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
Played a bunch last night to get myself to rank 15 ( I read somewhere if you get to rank 15, and play on 4 separate days in the beta you get something in the retail version.)
Had a blast...really, I know I have always been a fan of the game since beta dropped, but this game is just plain fun. Tried Rush for the first time and both attack and defend worked really well. I have minor issues with the map, like getting stuck in the middle of nowhere when playing conquest. One of the flags is just stupid far away and if you have no vehicle or horse it makes more sense to kill yourself and spawn closer.
But the game really is growing on me and I can't wait for release. Got the premium pass last night to solidify my excitement.Comment

One of the funny moments I had was when me & another guy charged each other on horses head on. We ended up killing each other at the same time with the swipe of our swords."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

What is the complaint about bullet drop? Bits definitely in there for sniper rifles. You can see the difference between different weapons.NCAA: Michigan Wolverines

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
Preface: It's going to sound it, but its not the case; this is NOT just me being a fanboy. It'll look like it because I've praised the game a few times already, but I was and have been the first to call out the crap times in this series too. A la, BF4 being trash for the better part of a year.
But the more I play this game the more I like it. I'm beyond excited for release (assuming its not a disaster, and it could be).
The plane's are an absolute BLAST. The controls are so smooth and they're just fun to fly and rewarding as hell. And watching them fly over the battlefield, all simplistic with their machine guns in dogfights is a thing of beauty. Really gives that old-school feeling of 'old' war. With the planes and the massiveness of this map (which has grown on me) it really gives it that BF 1942 feeling.
The stationary turrets all over the map give it that BC2 feel and at the same time, it has that new, Battlefront feel. A well done combination in my mind.
Its not perfect, and launch could very well be a disaster. But I've had as much straightforward FUN the past couple days on 1 map as I've had on any BF game.Comment

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)
I'm also enjoying it more and more. I have some gripes, but It's easy to forget about most of them.
I like this map, but It's a bit too open for my style of play so I try to stick to area near C and D if I can. You can tell there's quite a few people who never play Battlefield running around the beta. I can goof off and try random things the entire round and still finish towards the top of the leaderboard.
I imagine it won't be like that when the full game is out for a bit. Anyways.. I'm really digging the weapons. There's a serious sense of satisfaction when I get a kill.. which is something I had started to lose with other Battlefield games. I like the sound the game gives after a kill.. It reminds me of Battlefield Bad Company 2.
This game is beautiful and it has more of a cartoonish vibe to it for me, but that's okay... It's probably just the vibrant colors. When the storm rolls in, flying in a plane is really difficult.
I'm just looking forward to seeing the other maps in this game. I bet this map will be most everyone's least favorite. I hope some tweaks to bullet penetration/detection come with the full game. I find myself mostly complaining about people being bullet sponges.Last edited by AUChase; 09-03-2016, 01:19 PM.Comment
