Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)

what a situation with this game

on ps4 it looks very nice but the frame drops are brutal and I see teammates skipping all over the place. But it looks pretty

On xbox one slim it looks like dog crap as distance is so blurred that it ruins distance watching but it plays much smoother and i dont see the issues as much

    Yuck

Never really played much Battlefield and played this Beta a little bit and it's definitely different haha. Not sure I like it too much, it feels too much like WWI Battlefront

Re: Battlefield 1 (PC, PS4, XBOX One)

My thoughts on the beta are as follows-

        1. Graphics are amazing and have not experienced any framerate issues others have mentioned.

        2. Surround sound seems off. Cannot hear footsteps too well and just in general I feel that the sound does not make feel like I can hear my surrounding events well. I have been told by a good friend that being in party ruins the sound quality. (Beta issues).

        3. Gameplay seems quick paced and twitchy which I like. However, it doesn't seem very team oriented at the moment. I feel that I have very little awareness of what is happening with my teammates and generally that was not the case with previous Battlefield games including Hardline. This is probably my biggest issue with the game right now. Hopefully it is due to Beta issues and the final version will have addressed this somehow. The spotting seems very glitchy. Most of the time hitting the spot button repeatedly does absolutely nothing.

Overall, the game as potential to be as fun as previous BF games. We will just have to wait and see. BF4, and Hardline both had issues at the beginning and both turned out to be amazing games in the end. Those were my two cents.

So this has probably been asked, but I will ask again and apologize. Is there a fix for certian guns not firing with certain controllers? All of the sniper rifles and some of the medic weapons will not fire with my elite controller. They work fine with my other ones. Thanks and again apologies if asked and answered.

I am allowed to dislike the beta. It is pretty damn disappointing to me, honestly. I am holding out hope the retail version is awesome.

I love hearing what people think are good and bad about games. There are only a few people on here who get butt hurt and take shots at people.

Usually guys who for some reason feel the need to defend a game they like anytime anyone posts something negative about it.

I like reading good and bad, it doesn't change my opinion but it's good to read both sides.

It's the same logic used in the console arguments when it's PS4 v Xbox. Kinda silly really, either enjoy it or don't. No need to engage with someone in an argument just because they don't like it and you do.

A lot of low key dismissive statements often hehe.

I'm really warming up to the game and it can only get better (hopefully).

What system you on? I use my Astros A50s while gaming, and the surround with those seems great, and can hear footsteps no problem. The booming noise from explosions and gunfire sounds superb.

I am on PS4 and have a custom surround sound system set up. So that's not the issue since in other games the directional sound is spot on.

I played with an Elite controller and did not have any issues. By chance do you have the trigger thresholds set in a funky way?

I figured out how to get new weapons. You have to go to Battlefield.com then career then loadout and use your war bonds to buy new ones.

I'm addicted to this game, I've put in almost 20 hours so far. No complaints, other than the map selection.

You can do it in game, just go to customize highlight the weapon and there will be a sub menu showing the ones for purchase. You can do it for all the items as well.
